The movie is about a a fourteen year old and a guy who she thinks is a pedophile. She confines him in his own home, and there becomes a power struggle between them.

Has anyone seen this movie? Any opinions about it?

This got a lot of criticism because of its dubious content, but I really enjoyed this film. The only reason I picked it up, if I'm being honest, is because I really admire Patrick Wilson as an actor. I thought that he, as well as Ellen Page, were fantastic in this.

I remember when it was doing the Festival circuit and hearing stories about men becoming ill or even passing out during screenings. Anything that has the potential for that kind of reaction would cause a stir, but I think that Hard Candy was very well-crafted, as well as aesthetically beautiful.

I love this film .. ellen page i think she played the girl well .. aparently there are aloada hidden meanings in the film ... like she wears the red hoodie to be like little red riding hood and hes the big bad wolf.. and we all know what happens to the wolf in the story ??
