Harper's Bazaar UK August 2012 : Miranda Kerr by Giampaolo Sgura

I'm at a loss to see why anyone would think the styling here is good, or relevant for an August issue in fact. Such a shame as facially Miranda does look beautiful. Is this Lucy's last cover? I know she'll have work turning up but in terms of over seeing a cover, was this her last?

^ This is Jennifer's first issue, all on her own, and wow looking at that ed, which is even worse than the cover, i hope its a one off blunder.

Oh and ps: Isnt this her second cover for UK HB? One under Lucy?

I'm sorry for the poor scan as I still have my copy in it's plastic. I'm sure someone else will do a better job than me.

horrible cover and ed, they seems to be getting worse every month for me. the subscriber's cover is better but nothing special.

Oh yeah, I forget she had a cover once before. There was a hat involved wasn't there?

The subscriber's cover isn't Miranda is it...?

Hahah yes, there sure was.

The sub cover is soo random, it doesn't look like her, wonder who it is? Really not impressed by posted so far.

subsribers cover is great!! it seems like it has some vintage effect, but probably because of package

Although I agree with you that the styling is awful, I think what they were trying to do was jump on the Olympics train in a different way by showcasing a sport that's part of the Olympics, but is still often tied to fashion and seen as British, I think.

Results are awful, but I don't think the idea was bad.

I don't get the Olympics at all from this cover story, for me, it's just taking the same old 'country house' theme and placing the story outdoors for summer, with equestrianism as a standard interest in that sort of lifestyle.

But if they've mentioned that aspect of the Olympics, I hope the feature extends to something more than running photos of Zara Phillips because she happens to be royal, which is usually the case.

Having flicked through the issue I can't say I've come across anything olympics related in the slightest.

In love with the subscribers cover, that McQueen is amazing in print, excited to see Julias edit

I don't think it's a coincidence that the cover of a British magazine during the month of the Olympics would feature a very British sport that's part of the Olympics, which are set in Britain this year.
