I'm always surprised to see people here describe the event from Hedi's past that knocked him off the pedestal for them, so to speak. To me the occasional childish lashing out is fully consistent with the autism and emotionally wounded animal vibes that run through Hedi's work. Thirty years of hissing, don't-touch-me sadboy energy and y'all are surprised Hedi's actually like that? Did you think all the sad twinks were a metaphor?

When things are not fixed at the right time brings us complex/problematic adults. but as everyone the answer is on his childhood...

It’s good to see that he is still in the scene. Clearly he feels most at ease in the glamour of LA lol.

He looks great, like a 56 years old man. He can still fit in the type of fashion he designs lol.

I would love to see an AD article about him or a guest-edited edition of V or W Magazine.

He doesn’t like pictures of him taken usually so I don’t find his face more sad looking than ever.

It seems to me that's just how his nose is? Looks pretty unchanged from these 2001 photos, just older with wrinkles (surprised he isn't as smoothd-out as current-day Galliano). Hedi with some fans (mostly I just wanted to post these photos) to compare the nose and, as always, the hairline:

Not sure on the denim but the jacket is the Celine Paul Blouson.

Is he actually significantly bigger than he has been in recent photos? Double in size, ouch.

There will be plenty of time to criticize Rider when his job description of "be your own man but don't forget to cater to the old Pheobe fans but remember to cut production costs while broadening mass appeal while retaining as many Hedi customers as possible and of course never disagreeing with management" proves impossible to fulfill.
