THE BASSO & BROOKE HOTEL PLAN

THE DORCHESTER GROUP, famous for its high style portfolio of five of the world's most luxurious hotels, is changing its image – and it has brought Basso & Brooke, Stephen Jones and Helena Christensen on board to make it happen. From now on known as the Dorchester Collection, the hotel group - which owns the Dorchester in London, Le Meurice and Plaza Athénée in Paris, the Beverly Hills Hotel in LA and Hotel Principe di Savoia in Milan – has commissioned five costumes from Basso & Brooke which will be topped by extraordinary hats by Jones. Christensen, meanwhile, was chosen to capture the "essence" of the collection's main brand attributes – prestige and comfort – in a collection of photographs, in addition to which five of the world's most prestigious photographers were asked to capture each hotel in just one shot. "Working with the Dorchester Group has been an absolute pleasure as they reflect the professionalism, creative lifestyle, luxury, attention to detail and heritage we also aim for in our label," say Fashion Fringe winners of 2004, Bruno Basso and Christopher Brooke. "Each hotel has been well studied and illustrated in detail, taking into consideration historical references and translating into shape, print and colour whilst considering all the emotional aspects also. Each dress invites the guest to enjoy a lavish experience. We wish the spectator to experience the same sensation as we had when we first discovered each hotel." The pieces will be unveiled in London on Monday November 20. (November 14 2006, AM)

nothing to do , Michael was a big worldwide pop star in the late 80's, Peter is pure trash only known in UK, Kate and Peter are trashy, Helena and Michael were classy, a very cool and glamorous couple.
