I really like the nauctial style, so I think this is a great trend! I love the combinations of the colours...I have a few striped sailor shirts and a dress which looks very sailor. I think this trend is getting kinda big, I see Sailor stuff in almost every shop I go, there are really lots of striped shirts right now but I can't complain cause i'm addicted to them and have lots.
Anyways, I love the Balenciaga Spring 2005 Collection...I'm in with all the stuff! Thanks a lot for posting The_Ida!

I was insanely crazy for that collection, I like the blue so much , the blue shirt and pant sailor combo, when I went with my friend to india , I got it made for 3200 rupees which is about 70 bucks US , it was an almost exact replica and the tailoring house I went does beading for dior shhhhhh too, so people think their designer clothes are made in france most of the stitching and work is done in india ( since a lot of the tailors have a long history in working with embroidery and cutting) so anyways ,they also made the sailor gold buttons . I of course had to buy the fabric (which I bought in new york) and in 2 weeks after 2 fittings , it was ready , I was so happy, plus the whole process of seeing the outfit come alive was fun.

for real im sick of stripes too , nautical is cool sans the stripes plus stripes make you look fat esp nautical , I prefer sailor pants , short, gold buttons a la balenciaga ..

the heels are cute, and pretty artwork by the way.

im quite fond of the sailor look - in fact, have always been. i remember when i was small, i used to have to blue-and-white striped dress. it's very casual yet very cute.
