Hi everyone,
I'm new, just joined today! let me tell you guys what i'm hoping to get from joining. I graduated college w/a Bachelors in IT/Graphic Design in 2003; since then i've been working as a graphic designer. Recently i've decided that i'd like to pursue a career in the fashion industry. I'm torn between what i want to do though, I'm interested in both fashion design, and also the fashion merchandisng management program at FIT. I'm thinking that going to FIT/Parsons/Central Saint Martins would be the best bet for me to get my foot in the fashion industry. So can someone help me figure out how i decide btween fashion design or the merchandising/buying side of fashion? Please help!

mtwelve! not sure if you already made your decision but since you're a graphic designer im guessing you are somewhat artistic and love to create things and i'm taking a wild guess that you're good at painting. i think you should go for fashion design as that's where your creativity will come out!
