Help... Gold Lame leggins!!

So my friends and i started this faux dance school... Was a bit of a joke to begin with, but other people decided to take it very seriously... So seriously in fact, that one of our students supplied us all with lame leggins from american apparel.
I laughed out loud when i saw them, but then the more i think about it, maybe it could be soo wrong ... people might just buy it?
We're all skinny model types so no worries in regards to us looking gross in them.. well apart from the fact that the leggins are gross..

So I was thinking black mini dress on top with platforms or something...

Ideas will be welcome!

suppose you're right, have looked at the website, some of their press clippings and they've been worn and made to look pretty cool... eg, this plastique magazine shoot:

but it's just in real life, they just look a bit much (ie: gross) .. i've road tested them, to a crazy party on top of a long black tunic, but i cant imagine how to make them look okay in daylight??!!

I actually bought those in black, because they looked a bit like black skinny leather pants. Normally, I just wear them with a black top & some sort of black heel or black boot. It makes me feel really cool, haha.

I would try maybe some sort of white top, I think that would make the color really sort of pop. I would just keep it all pretty plain & simple, because they leggings are so loud. Perhaps even a neautral beige-ish color? As for shoes, I'd say some kind of space-y platforms perhaps.

This has been driving me insane. I spotted a funnel neck plaid (ivory set with huge bold brown) zip up sweater on a girl at a concert and then again on the streets of Boston. Old Navy has very similar funnel neck ones but I want that huge plaid print. Help!

Has anyone seen a funnel neck sweater in big bold plaid? Who's it by??

If they are long enough to pull under your heels, I'd do that. Only to be worn at night, I think. Why not wear bikini tops and sheer, belted tunics? I'd use silver or gold chain for the belts.
