Hi,

I dont know if this is the right place to post this, so I am sorry if it is not.

I am in desperate need of a whole new look. At work I live in black and beige and when I am out, I live in jeans.

I would love to know the colours to wear at the moment. Accessories etc.

Please help me.

Find out what styles you like. I like to go through magazines and cut out all the looks I like. Then when I need some inspiration I just have a look at my pictures.

And if there's a particular celebrity you like you can search for candids of him or her to get inspiration. For example, I really like how Ashley Olsen dresses, so when I'm feeling really uninspired I search out paparazzi photos of her (there are several forums out there dedicated to the Olsens and a thread on this forum), identify what kinds of clothes she's wearing and then look for similar clothes in stores or online, but don't completely copy a look - make it your own.

kimbyanne, try be a little bit more specific so we can help you out and maybe give you some suggestions. Like some of the other posts in this thread suggest, choose some celebrities whose look you like, some desigeners or just some items or looks you like. Post them and we can have a think as to some suggestions..

Wear the colours that appeal to you/ complement your skintone regardless of wether they are in fashion or not..that shows more individuality than just wearing the colour of the moment..and it seems like you allready know what colours you like : Bright colours - Pink - Jade Green - Baby Blue..
as for accessories..H&M has a diverse selection of cheap accessories to give inspiration..you could make some yourself with ribbons/beads etc (Im thinking Lavin, Marni..very girly and pretty..and unique if you make them yourself..or cruise the fleemarkets for accessories)
