Hermès F/W 2022.23 Paris

Really insipid, nothing desirable.

It’s less robotic than usual but it’s not very good…I really don’t get the abundance of hot pants? The knit tops with a simple skirt are probably the better looks.

The color palette is cute albeit very 2005 with the mint and chocolate.

Leather overdose...yes, yes...I know it´s Hermès! But almost each single look has leather anywhere.

I loved this actually, really surprised - the boots with the socks and all the knit shorts with the ruffle tops, also obsessed with the colour palette

cool kids don't want this - too expensive and not cool, rich ladies dont buy this - too cheap looking and too drab. who is this for!?
China people and Russians looking to move their money out of Russia

This collection also spells trouble for their accessories design team… one of the new shoulder bag on the runway this time round looks extremely similar, or rather like a b*st*rd child between the Victoria Beckham zip pouch and the Saint Laurent Manhattan Shoulder, while the other is just a Hermes version of Celine Edge… I am not saying they are not desirable by themselves, but it’s too referential to whatever others have been doing for almost a decade.

This will raise questions like… what if we take away the Birkin, Kelly, Constance and Lindy what is left of Hermes? Can Hermes create a fresh, innovative, and desirable bag which can survive on its own without the Hermes branding?

Was the Birkin or Kelly really innovative? They became popular because of influencers. Bottega is the brand that has really came up with some different innovations.
