I like it when the clothes aren't tight :ninja: until they're too loose and a dress begins looking like a raincoat... I don't think there's a very wide margin for error. Thanks for the thread though, and the good examples...:p

I like it shoes, clothes not so much. Not sure how'd comfortable they'd be.

Super glossed up deep brown vinyl is super gorgeous....

My buys for next summer will consist of lots of high gloss vinyl/faux leather items... Like the tiny bags with long thin straps, I want one in high gloss vinyl in black (square shaped one). .... I am also on the look for super skinny suspenders in high gloss black......

Sandals are beautiful too!

love the shoes!, and i agree, jennifer. it looks a bit too dominatrix when tight..

Thanks for this thread kimkhuu.

I love this on shoes and bags...I can't imagine many people can get away with the items of clothing.

...so, patent leather then? not really into it, with the exception of purses, which can always be added to any outfit for a texture shift.

I don't get this trend. It's not for me.

Me too, I only like it on shoes. Shoes that aren't bright colors. Like, I don't mind the Lanvin shoes in post #2.

This LV purse makes me gag (like most of the purses from the show). Seriously looks like vinyl, is it?...

THOSE LANVIN heels are so sexy!! I want a pair now.....<3

^ Ew you're right. That is the most ugliest purse from LV I have seen this month

^ agreed, those lanvin shoes are very pretty... they balance out well with the new minimalist + black trend!

^ I thought so too =) I especially love the red ones... They would look fantastic with black!!

I agree its patent leather. Im into shiny heels and bags  ..but clothes not so much.

not really feeling the shiny leather, reminds me too much of prostitution and S&M...

Does anyone remember that Dior campaign a few years ago with the red rubber dresses? I thought that was just fab  ;)

That's why I think this trend is at its best when mixed with other fabrics/material. :flower:

I really find myself liking these pairs of Pradas... especially when paired with the gray tights (although they're a little bunchy there... hah).
