no because something about disturbing them in their natural habitat, so many people were holding them when they are naucternal it was really affecting the animals and disrupting their systems by having them awake in the day. I heard they stopped doing it for tourists.

i saw hilary and haylie duff at Barneys NY in beverly hills yesterday. They were there with a "posse" of like 6 people. Hilary was wearing a fedora and a purple long sleeve sweater and shoes that were like 4 inches high...I'm 5'3 and she was my height (wearing the shoes)...ive never seen anyone wear more makeup than those two. Hilary wasent quite as skeletal as i thought she would be...and haylie is just as ugly as i thought she would be...

ok, seriously you need to chill out.

Jade is correct. koalas are mostly nocturnal animals, they are most active during the night and at dawn/dusk.

it is unfortunate that TV shows and celebrities exploit koalas because they want to 'cuddle them'. it is a wild animal for god sake!!

they have stopped letting every second tourist hold them, but they do let people hold koalas in special circumstances.
in my opinion, these people should BACK OFF this native animal and stop disturbing its natural way of life.

no i dont, since I live in Australia. I guess I was wrong its just what I heard. But I agree I dont think they should be allowed too disturb them, 'special' celebrity visits or not.

Hahaha. I went to a french school for one day when I was little and all the french kids thought that we had kangeroos hopping around in our backyard.

The only kangaroo I've seen is in a zoo. And I live in Australia.
