Hilary Duff

This morning Hilary Duff was live on air with Ryan Seacrest here in LA on KIIS FM to exclusively debut her new song With Love off her new album. She revealed that the album will be titled Dignity.

When asked why she decided to name the album Dignity she replied, "Dignity is something you don't just have, you have to work on having it." She did her best to not talk about her break-up with Joel Madden but Ryan kept pressing her ... she did reveal that they are "still friends" and that they still "keep in touch" which is good to hear (she also confessed that she has only gone on one date with someone since the break-up). The song With Love is the same song used in the commercial for her fragrance of the same name and is pretty dancey. She also revealed that the album isn't finished yet; that she has one song left to finish before she's done with the album. It was a cute interview ... not very salacious but we did get to hear her new song in its entirety ... which was pretty cool. [Source]

Newly single Hilary Duff isn't sitting at home crying over her ex-boyfriend Joel Madden's new romance. She's looking slim and stylish in some super skinny jeans while treating herself to a manicure on Jan. 16.

Those jeans look awesome on her!! The fit is perfect, as is the length. Ahh the envy.

Hilary Duff Calls Being Single 'Kind Of Exciting'

Hilary Duff says she and ex-boyfriend Joel Madden still speak to each other – but that she's excited to start playing the field and jump into dating.

Appearing on Ryan Seacrest's L.A. radio show Thursday morning, the now single actress and singer said dating "is fun. I kind of feel like a guy, like I can do it now." She added, laughing, "But I feel kind of wrong at the same time."

She also revealed that she'd recently been on a date with an unnamed suitor, which she said was a unique experience for her.

"I've never gotten to (date) before, so it's kind of exciting," she said. "I've always just had a boyfriend, you know? I'm young!"

Duff, 19, said her breakup with Madden, the lead singer of Good Charlotte, late last year, after two and half years together, wasn't bitter. "There was nothing – no fight, no 'He did this, I did this,' " she said. "It was just time for people to move on and do different things."

They still keep in touch, she added. "I had a really great relationship with him, and we still have a great relationship, which is really good and unusual. He's a good person, and I always will care about him."

Asked how long she might go before getting into another serious relationship, she wouldn't say. "What if I meet someone that I really am into, and they're really into me, and I'm feeling it and I'm going for it?" she said.

Duff was on the KIIS-FM program to debut the song "With Love" from her upcoming record, Dignity. She said the title for the record came from her experience living the showbiz life.

"I feel like dignity is something that you can't just have, you know, you have to work on having," she said. "And I feel like I have it a little. ... The album is so personal and talks about so many experiences I've had – good ones and bad ones – and (dignity) is something I always hope to have and strive to have."

The album, which has not yet been completed, is due in stores April 3.

Hilary Duff is back with a new look (see above) and a new sound!

Sexy, sophisticated and smoky, this new Duffster is all grown up, and the music off her new album, Dignity - out this Spring, reflects her newfound maturity.

Gone is the bubblegum pop of her earlier works. In it's place? Pure, unadulterated Europop.

Yup, Hilary has gone in the Kylie Minogue direction, and we LOVE it. Unfortunately, Europop doesn't sell in America.

Her new single, With Love, is a delicious dance tune that will more likely than not get ignored by radio in the U.S., though it could find an audience on MTV.

In Europe, where good music is embraced (and not just hip hop or rock), Duff's new sound will be warmly welcomed and With Love will likely be a big hit.

We've already put on our Stevie Nicks shawl and danced around to it a few times.

It's such hot track!
