Hilary Duff shows off her huge engagement sparkler at the Four Seasons Hotel in Maui, Hawaii on Friday (February 19).
The 22-year-old actress got engaged last week while on vacation with the love of her life, hockey player Mike Comrie. He got down on one knee and popped the question to Hilary on the balcony on their hotel.

I can't help but wonder if they/he arranged for the paparazzi to be there when he proposed. Either way, it's kinda weird..

Idk if it was staged. Because it looks like Hilary is taking a picture of the paps...wasn't there a law passed not to long ago, that paparazzi are no longer able to take pictures of celebs when they're not on the job?
So by Hilary taking a picture of them, the people in the picture can get into trouble?
I really have no idea actually.
That was just something I've heard.
But I'm curious if that's true or not?
