I am starting to think the cover is ready or maybe they have done 19 covers and will choose one at the latest moment :unsure:
 
Either way Letterman is going to announce the official cover in a few days.

I cant believe Estee Lauder is dumping so many jobs. I dont think Hilary or any of the other spokeswomen are going to be affected though. Not at this point anyway.
 
^^ They don't dump ad campaigns at this point when trying to bring in new sales.

Unless someone knows the editorial staff at SI or untill it's official who is on the front page..

SI always do this. None of the models know who's got the cover until the " winner" is taken to a meeting and the cover is revealed to them. This, I think, is usually the day before the cover is released.

Who gets the cover is all down to one picture, really. Who has taken the " cover shot"?
Hilary might be a rookie, but if she takes a pictures and the SI people look at it and think, " THAT'S our cover" then Hilary's got it.
That's why all of the models have to model their butts off! If they don't, they're no way getting the cover.

I believe so, yeah. That's how I've been lead to believe it works anyway :flower:

Marisa Miller didn't know she was on the cover until she was called to a meeting and a copy of the magazine was handed to her. So, that makes me think they're still doing it this way :flower::heart:

I have never could imagine Hilary had the coveted necessary to do this. Now I want to know if she will be the star in this edition!! Surely she hasn't showcard because she is goyng to be very busy this season!

Sorry but you are wrong Hilary never had problems in that way Hilary simply decided to take a makeover. You can see Lara Stone who is even bigger and is hired by designers nbut never will have a name like Hilary Rhoda
 
no, i don't think so; lara stone entered modeling being this size while hilary used to have model size and then lost it, then she got a cosmetic contract so the pressure to go back on the runway was probably a lot smaller.

I agree....models do runway/editorials to get that exposure hoping it will lead to a cosmetic contract. Hilary already has one, so why would she go back to doing shows (some which don't even pay you) when she can sit back and count her Estee Lauder coins.:lol:

Also I think Hilary is very smart....I think to become a BIG model you must know how to balance both the High Fashion and Commercial side of modeling. She already locked in the High Fashion ( If she came back tommorow, Im sure all the designers would still book her). Now she is trying to get her foot in the commercial side. Although it would be nice to see her now and then.:innocent:
 
The announcement of the SISE 2009 cover girl will be revealed on the David Letterman show next Monday night (02-09-2009).The SISE 2009 will be released onto newsstands on the following day and then the cover girl will have her first interview with dear ol' Dave on Wednesday!!!!!!!!!!!!!
