It really depends on his collection really. For example, for Dior S/S 2006's Dior Nude collection, he used a lot of soft fabrics like tulle and chiffon to create a soft, feminine look. For Dior F/W 2006 he chose to use a lot of mix of hard tough fabrics and softer fabrics such as chiffon (if anyone watched the Style.com video he talks about the degradé thing that is quite characteristic of this season) to create a combination of masculine and feminine elements.
