It's such a shame that his work is a mess these days, but in the Nineties, he was a God of some sort. Inspirational is a good word.

What does he use to create his designs??
What sort of fabrics and other extra materials???

THANK YOU!!!

He is a VERY BUSY man, if not the busiest in fashion.
He designs for......
Dior RTW (2)
Dior HC (2)
Galliano Homme (2)
Galliano (2)
John Galliano RTW (2)
Dior Resort (1)

That's a total of 11 collection a year....can you IMAGINE!? :woot:

I think Karl still beats him in that category

Chanel
Fendi
Lagerfeld Gallery
Shoots some of his own ad campaigns

Lessee ... everything and anything? ^_^ It really depends on his collection really. For example, for Dior S/S 2006's Dior Nude collection, he used a lot of soft fabrics like tulle and chiffon to create a soft, feminine look. For Dior F/W 2006 he chose to use a lot of mix of hard tough fabrics and softer fabrics such as chiffon (if anyone watched the Style.com video he talks about the degradé thing that is quite characteristic of this season) to create a combination of masculine and feminine elements.

Can someone please edit their post because it is asking for a password to see pics, thanks.

i think he doesn't work alone.
he or with other assistants will together on sketch and construction and all that..and he will edit them. there are many designers in the team like fabric print designer and all that....i supppose
he it's still stressful to work for a prestigious house

sorry i think the pictures i posted are asking for passwords can someone get rid of them because i dont know how to

Well, that's only 8 collecitons in total for a year.....2 for Fendi, 2 for Lagerfeld Gallery, 4 for Chanel.....well, plus Chanel resort, so 9 in reality.....which, is obviously less than 11.
