Hockey!?

The thread about your favourite football teams kinda inspired me to start one about my favourite sport (well, ok, next to horseback riding.. Hockey! I`m at every game of the Hamburg freezers here and I`d love to see an NHL game live someday, not only on TV. Anyone as crazy about hockey as I am? I hope that at least the people from Canada won`t disappoint me here . C ya

Hmmm, probably not too many people will respond to this on these boards I love hockey. I think I'm going to a New York Rangers game soon...

well ähhm i like hockey, in my town there is also a hockey team. i watched every game of them 2 years ago...but now i don't watch the games any more...don't know it became boring a bit. and our team is also not the best

Eh, I'm not really a big fan of hockey :') I sometimes watch hockey games on tv .. but it isn't really something I talk about 24/7.

Last reply was last year I guess not a lot of hockey fans in here Well as far as this year NHL season I was kind of hoping that Blackhawks will make it since that great start but after injuries of the best 2 players it went down... Now I'm all for Detroit to win ( well I also thought Rangers could be in finals too ) . And today on hockey championship in Russia Czech (my team) lost to Russia ( I beleive Pashenka's fave team) so sad ! So now go Slovakia againts Sweden !

I was about to start a thread about my fave sport, when a search brought me here...I feel ashamed for not having found this earlier...

Anyway, renata75 is right, my fave national team is Russia of course!

And my fave club is Spartak Moscow ...and in NHL (I've started to follow it only recently, after the new rules made its game less physical and more similar to the european one - except for the small rinks...) I root for the New York Islanders!
(with sympathies for Montreal & Ottawa too...)

Considering all the above, my "enemies" are of course CSKA & Dynamo Moscow, the Rangers and the Leafs...and since I still cry thinking about Nagano '98, I'll add to the blacklist Czech national team (and talking about Jagr: czech national team + Rangers = ...he's to me like kryptonite to Supes... ...sorry sanrio, don't shoot me! )
