I live in Antwerp, Belgium and have no problems finding what I want.. but my best friend who lives in Bev (and who wasn't really interested in fashion before) would like some help finding good stores for the following designers...

Yohji Yamamoto, Comme des Garcons, Stephan Schneidder, Dries van Noten, ...

Are there any in his area? Many thanks.

Barneys New York, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus for department store of Yohji, Jil sander, Comme, and Dries

There is also Maxfield which carries a lot of less know designer at very high mark up...

There are other ones like White Trash Charms..

Santa Monica has very nice shopping at the 3rd Promenade...

Maxfield in Hollywood has all fo thous designers, exept may be Stephan Schneidder.

Try also

Mameg in Brentwood, on Montana

Weathervane in Santa Monica on Montana

Naked in W.Hollywood on Beverly and Martel for hard to find designers like Boudicca.

Mameg is on San Vicente in Brentwood- I was in there last night. Very nice SA.
