How about your LEAST favorite movie?

V for Vendetta :yuk: So overrated and actually insulting how it glorifies terrorism (plus, Natalie Portman just freaking whines and whines)

The Family Stone --- Am I the only one who thought it was supposed to be a 'comedy'? I swear, only about two minutes out of the whole tedious movie was it relatively humorous. The writers shoved every freaking inane plot ploy ever created into this one movie! Someone's dying, someone is gay, someone is in an inter-racial relationship, someone is handicapped, someone is emotionally disturbed. It was a god-awful movie with a predictable plot and a predictable ending.

Where the Red Fern Grows-- I am famous among friends and family for being an adamant opponent of this movie and the books its based on. It is NOT a family movie-- it is nothing more than a lesson in sadism. The book is NOT emotionally strengthening or fulfilling, it's just a stupid book about an idiot kid who's dogs die. Not only that, but in the sequal the idiot kid is an idiot adult and he gets two more dogs and they both die--again!!! This is NOT a man who should have pets! The ONLY reason I ever watched this movie was because I was forced to watch it in elementary school (4 TIMES!!) because idiot teachers thought it was an emotionally touching movie that is family friendly. It is not! Don't ever let your children watch this movie or read the book!

I've seen lots and lots and lots of bad ones, but here are some off the top of my head:

Alex & Emma
Le Divorce
Failure to Launch
Dirty Dancing (I seriously may be the only one on earth who feels this way, but I HATE this movie. HATE this movie. Patrick Swayze cannot act his way out of a paper bag.)
The Sound of Music (Again, I am probably alone on this, but when those kids start to sing, I want to ***********.)

No, you are not alone!:D

Dirty dancing is boring as hell, plus the plot is just ridiculus

The Sound Of Music is so annoying, the singing is just hell and you can't get it out of your ears no matter how hard you try. I can't stand Julie Andrews becouse of this film.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! :flower:

You know I was going to say something about V for Vendetta sucking, but my comment was halted when I saw someone mention the suckiness that is Le Divorce. That is absolutely, positively the WORST movie my eyes have ever seen. I mean the WORST. Absolutely craptastic.

V for Vendetta was pretty bad too and Natalie Portman's fake british accent made it worse.

dlg

The Chronicles of Riddick
Jason and the Argonauts (the one from 2000, not 1963)
Sucker Punch
The Waterboy

The House Bunny with Anna Faris- It was so horrible I had to stop looking after 15 minutes or so. I am 100% sure I would have hated even if I watched the whole movie. The plot was so stupid!
The Dukes of Hazzard with Jessica Simpson was also a horrible and stupid movie.
Me and my best friend both hated it and she had to push the fast forward button and we see that it didn't get better with time.

But there are many more movies that I would probably think were just as bad or worse. I just try to avoid them.

I have to stop you right there. That movie was one of the best movies I've ever seen. The movie is very deep and very well made, its a great compliment to the graphic novel. I'll agree with you on Natalie Portman though. Not to mention her dreaded fake accent.

The worst movie I've ever seen was given to me as a gift. Clearly as a joke and I really must burn it. I was given 'Santa With Muscles'. Its a Hulk Hogan Christmas movie. His movies were bad enough, but this one just takes the biscuit. It's so bad it left me crying with laughter.

Paranormal Activity. It wasn't scary at all and the characters were annoying.

I hated V for Vendetta as well. It was cheesy and Natalie Portman did not play her role well.

Argo was absolutely terrible.

I watched The Notebook quite recently and it's pretty bad imo.

I liked Argo.

Hunt for Red October, Nightmare on Elm Street, Princess Bride come to mind ... oh. The Paperboy is the most disturbing movie I've ever seen. Really regrettable.

My teen cousin made me watch "Dude Where's My Car ?" or something like that. It's the WORST movie, ever.

There are so many - how to begin? LOL. "The Notebook" is so sickly maudlin I just can't. But in terms of recent films I thought "Spring Breakers" was horrible.
