Hi people!
I'm an argentinian girl who always buy RIMMEL LONDON products...this winter I went as usually to refresh my cosmetics bag, and bought a new foundation, a blush...and a duo eyeshadow, who appeared to be a grey plum tone, even tough it said Metallic Pearls (514)
when I came home to test all them, i found out that it wasnt grey instead it was a super silver...two tones of silver a darker and a lighter...I did my makeup anyway but I still find it uncomfortable
I have enormous green eyes, my best feature, and armonic face, but really I feel like I've been trapped...I never used silver colours in my face, usually gold or bronze in the summer when I get very tanned...but this!?

So my question is, can you propose ways of using it? pictures of catwalk show that have used it? should I buy a grey eyeshadow now, and use the silver one for highlight it?

I know you're all very creative, so help me please

Peacelover this is amazing
they were inspirational pictures...I never thought I can make a look like that, but now I think I get it...it's actually very disco vibe...I'm gonna go with nude lips, red makes me weird I think
truly thankful

also check out a picture of Scarlett Johanson in her thread at the Louis Vuitton show. She wore a silvery eyeshadow very bare with some eyeliner, and pink cheeks and some lip gloss. It looked great. very 17th century french look.

Love you all!
I'm gonna practice a lot, because it is a very flawless make up

:D

I ordered a silver & gold YSL duo, but I'm more concerned about how to wear the gold.

i think gold/silver eyeshadow would look best if it was applied with intense black eyeliner

Pavement dont worry
the gold is the easy one, you can mix it or match it with
appricoat, peach, pink, brown, and get a summery feeling, very warm
think about Versace spring summer 2005
That's my leit motiv every summer since then

I was scared about the silver because it is a cold colour, so it can accentuate bad things about your face
but now I'm testing it with all your advices!

After this weekend I'm gonna post pics of me with silver

Actually, it is wonderful to wear silver and gold together, and define with a smokey almost black shade and liner. This is what I did recently and finished with YSL Faux Lash.
