How Do You Smell Today?

Etat Libre D'Orange Vierges et Toreros

Tuberose, leather and "animalic accord". I like the idea, but the fragrance seems inharmonious. Much as I like ELDO's philosophy and rude humor, I feel that olfactory pranks and provocation often reduce the fragrances to punch lines. I think that's the case here.

L'Artisan Voleur de Roses

Rose and Patchouli. The first half hour has been amazing, but need to see how this pans out over the course of the day.

Chloé Parfum
D&G La Lune
Tea Rose

... I like to make sure all my bases are covered, but I make it subtle. Never overwhelming.

Frederic Malle Bigarade Concentrée

I cannot improve on the web-legendary basenotes review which reads in its entirety "a cab driver eats an orange", but I'll elaborate and say that this is unsweetened orange with an undertone of cumin; a dirty orange. I am pretty sensitive to cumin but this is just the right amount.

Chasse aux Papillons Extreme by L'artisan, perfect for a rainy blue day to cheer me up.

Parfum D'Empire Ambre Russe

It's perhaps the slightest bit too sweet, but on the whole it's really lovely, actually.
