How Do You Wear Your Prada Trick/robot?

I have come to the realization of why I detest the word "trick" to describe them.

*Ahem* A synonymous phrase for working in prostitution is "turning tricks."

I've always hated the term "tricked out" to describe a modified car, too.

IMO, tricks are what you teach a dog, like balancing biscuits on his nose or walking on his back legs.

Or else tricks-n-hoes.

Some of the first tricks are now on sale for $99 a piece at www.smartbargains.com if anyone is interested.

I love their site! And I actually really love these charms. When I was at the Prada store in PAris last month they had them shown on big big bags and used these to add some extra fun to the bag. Really cute!

Robots

I do not like the tricks for me, but I like the leather robot trick as a keychain for my husband. I think it is charming in a boyish way. Boys never grow up, right? In that sense, the robots are very endearing to me. I like to think of my husband and I as kids who never grew up.

Honestly, look at ebay to find an old tin robot from the 1950s. They are $1000s of dollars, but once were just dime store pieces of tin. The leather Prada robot has the vintage look of these old collectibles. .. and really, isn't $100 spent like $20's these days? I barely phase spending $100-300 at a time. It's when I want something $500+ that I need to think "can I afford this".

 That's how I've become, too. Not good...

Don't we all think like that.. ;)

Not really...

I had to psyche myself up in a pretty major way to spend $70 on a pair of shoes I actually needed. In no way could I justify to spend $100 on a freakin' keychain!!!

I just got a Prada robot from my bf for Christmas. He knew I was about to get him a Futurama Bender statue and he surprised me with this 'matching' trick. ^_^ I love it, I wear it with my bag. I never thought of buying myself one before, but as a gift it's just perfect (and cute).

Some of them are pretty cute but I dont get it... its just a keychain right?
