Ok, in pounds its not so bad. I like Naomi and I'd pay her to be in my show, sadly she'd be the only model.

I have to say theres just something about Naom when shes on the catwalk. Something otherworldly, if you remember her at the Rio fashn week, she kind of over shadowed everyone and everything.

Have any of you seen this girl on the catwalk, in the flesh? i was at Julien Mcdonald last season and boy is she fierce. She exuded confidence and attitude when she walks. Its also uncanny how well she photographs on the runway. But no, shes not worth $200,000 and about six business class tickets for ten minutes of walking

this is true. she did overshadow in rio. i know she draws such stong emotions, and is said to do some silly things. but when it comes to her catwalk i'm not ashamed to say i indulge.

I'm beginning to wonder when Naomi won't be in such great demand. She IS getting older, I wonder when her peak was?
Umm...Never?

I dont really recall when Naomi was on top. I dont think she ever was, shes the only model from that era that still models constantly...I guess thats why we care...

Quite frankly though has anyone seen Naomi on a runway that matters? Seriously, I dont think she's ever seen a Dior tent let alone a Chanel backstage pass.

Ive seen her walk, nothing spectacular, now Erin and Jacquetta have some commanding walks...

i met her and she didn t exude nothin, i was actually afraid she ll grab me by the hair or something with all the stories of her beatin up people.

To a degree, I think having Naomi brings some kind of excitement to the fashion industry...I miss the days of models gracing covers of magazines, and being the celebrities...That doesn't excuse her poor attitude, however...

Then how much does she cost?

Whenever I see her in a bathing suit (non-runway photo) I think she's rather boney and not that pretty but in all the runway videos I've seen I thought she did rather well.

I think the reason why she isn't seen doing the BIG shows is because those shows don't need her.. galliano does not need Naomi to bring attention to Dior.. the clothes themselves do that. Its up and coming designers who need the media attention Naomi brings that hire her for the sky high price.

“Naomi will not simply wear any outfit you give her,” says Owen warily. “The clothes must fit her image as a sophisticated, worldly-wise girl. She models for the world’s top 20 designers and not small, unknown ones. I don’t think she will recognise any Malaysian designers however famous he may be in your country. If she doesn’t like the dress, she won’t wear it. Or if she thinks she doesn’t look good in it. Or if she thinks it doesn’t fit her to perfection.”

Yeah, like that Heatherette show where she paraded down the runway bedecked in STARS that looked like the decorations from the prom scene in "Carrie"?

WHAT-EVER!!!

Heres what I had in mind..from GettyImages, of course...
