Naomi Campbell is modelling for Tescos. The British supermodel, who counts H&M and Accessorize among her high street posing portfolio, made her debut for the supermarket in a prime time television ad last night. As part of the new campaign for the Cherokee label, the casual American label that is sold from Tescos in the UK, Naomi stars as herself in the ad, acting up a self-parody that is sure to improve her image over here. Campbell is seen arriving at a hotel and madly beating down pop-up signs that repeatedly appear to reveal just how inexpensive her outfit is. The next scene shows her attending an anger management meeting before losing her temper as more pop-ups appear. This ad is the second in the current campaign series and whether Naomi will appear in further ads is yet to be decided. For now though, she's bound to get the Cherokee label noticed. "It is completely on a level with the high street fashions," says a spokeswoman for the label. "The clothes are inspired in the same way as all the most popular labels. The quality speaks for itself though – it's on a par with Gap, or even better, because the supermarket is able to source the best materials." From Vogue.co.uk

I suppose the advert’s trying to prove to everyone that Naomi has a sense of humour…

I saw them on TV yesterday, I must say they're quite amusing. Nothing better than Naomi Campbell making fun of her anger issues while wearing cheap clothes from a supermarket. Thank God there was a pop up for her to release her anger at.

I liked these adverts, it's sure to bring in more of the 'fashion concious' crowd. I like how she's playing on her personality too. ^_^

it made me laugh! they must have shelled out to get her and i dont think she'll mind wearing the cheap clothes if shes getting the money for it!

ahhh can you see those ads via internet? funny :D

How I love these adverts, they're the best thing on television at the moment.

Those ads are really funny. I like the one when she's in that anger management class.
