How Much Water Do You Drink Per Day?

^It's really hard to say. It depends on your body mass, what your sodium level is (that is why athletes can be more susceptible to water poisoning - their sodium levels can drop very low) Normal healthy kidneys should be able to process a liter of water in an hour or so. It's just a problem when people foolishly chug water down in a very short time span...

I don't drink nearly enough usually....if I could get myself into one new habit it would be drinking more water. OK...starting tomorrow...:innocent: 1-2L would be ideal, i think..

I have started trying to monitor the amount I drink but haven't found a good way. I would like to make sure I get enough...

^ What about if you drink out of a measured container ? doesn't that help? I know when I'm trying to be aware of how much water i drink i just make sure to use a bottle or container that's labeled.. e.g. just fill up a 500ml water bottle and then know that you need to fill it up x amount of times for the day.. let's say 2, 3, 4 times.. however many litres you want to drink. I find that a pretty easy way to monitor it.

Lately, about 4-5 litres a day. I don't know exactly why and I'm pretty sure it's not healthy but I can't help it - I'm always thirsty. I feel like a jellyfish right now. :ninja:

I drink 4-5 litres a day, too. Sometimes even 6 litres in the summer. I didn't know this could be unhealthy. :o

i used to drink like only 3-4 glasses/day. very unhealthy. but im starting to drink more than 1 litre per day. haha :D

thanks....sounds good :flower:

mmm depends mostly on how much coffee and/or alcohol i've drunk that day :P but on school days, usually around 2 L? just for the sake of keeping the skin clear, and the dentist away :P :D

I've gotten into a habit these days of drinking about a liter or more water because I hear it's really good for the skin!

2-3Litres a day. i have this strange habit- everytime i want to eat and go to the kitchen to grab smth i end up drinking water :o idk, it makes me feel clean.

I drink 2-3 bottles of water a day... 500ml bottles so thats between 1 and 1.5 litres... that's probably not enough, but I do drink lots of juice as well. I'm drinking more at the moment because the central heating has kicked in at home and it really dries out my mouth! I wake up 'spitting feathers' as my aunt would say

Dentist? Does it have something to do with teeth?

I'm sure coffee stains the teeth and cleaning would be much more vigorous.

I don't drink enough water. I already know. -_- Water just doesn't taste good. I try to add little packets of flavor to them so I will drink more, but I always forget to buy them. :P

sometimes i've drunk only one glass of water, but know i drink 1,5-2,5 liters a day

Easily 5 - 6 litres of water, but that's because I do sport and drink a cup of coffee almost daily as well.

i've been known to drink up to 2.5 l a day, though i'm not drinking nearly enough lately.

Well , it depends .
Somedays i dont drink nothing , other days i drink even 4 l or more ...
So - I can't tell it precisely .

i try to drink a lot of water per day...but at the end of the day, i drink a glass or two glasses of wine...i think if i don't drink that often, may be my skin can benefit a lot more.
