How to decorate a small apartment

Okay... I figured I should probably take some pics before I'm putting up tacky christmas ornaments everywhere...
As you can see it's very small. And I share a small 'hall' bathroom and kitchen with a friend.

As mentioned earlier it's not how I want it yet.. But I'm getting there. E.g. I want oh so many pillows, but it must be pillows that I love so it's taking time and money to get them... And I want al sorts of kinds - no matching there. ^_^

My apartment is an extremely "cozy" 400sqft studio. I used a bookshelf/desk to divide the bed from the rest of the apartment. I also tried not to clutter the space with too many furnishings or wall-art. These pics were taken a year ago (I've rearranged since then):

pics from my flickr

apt in chicago are very good quality. i love how you arrange your place.

Still totally in love with your wallpaper, Tinetush :crush: Or is it total wallpaper lust? :p  I have inherited wallpaper, but it is by no means as cool as yours ...
