My papa is leaving for the US soon (for work) and I'd like him to bring some magazines from there. They can't be expensive 'cause I'll have to pay for them and since I have almost no money right now. So what do you recommend? I'm looking for magazines with stuff on celebs, fashion, ... but they can't be like read in 20 minutes (you know, only pictures and advertisements), I want to READ (e.g. interviews!!). I was thinking of maybe Ellegirl (don't have that here). Good one?
Then I know Seventeen, Cosmogirl, are they any good? I know VF, quite thick I think, but too expensive for me right now.
Any more recommendations?

Thanks gals/ dudes! xx

Honestly...if you want to read celeb type interviews then Vanity Fair is good. I think the cost is around $4.00 US. I would vote for Teen Vogue (small format) over Elle Girl or Cosmo Girl.

Ok, thanks. I heard VF consists for 50% of advertisements, so I'd rather spend my $4 on two other mag's then ^_^

More tips anyone?

I'd suggest Ellegirl. Its one of my favs, and this will probably be your last chance to get a copy since its shutting down soon. I'd also suggest Elle; their editorials are not the best, but they usually have stuff on celebs, lots of interesting articles, and good fashion coverage. Also, even though everyone complains about it, I generally find Vogue to be a good read, with pretty good editorials, and some celeb stuff.

Hope I helped. :flower:

Yes, that was helpful, thanks! Can you tell me what the prices are of Vogue and Elle? And why is Ellegirl going to call it a day?

Get ElleGirl while you can! VF does have a lot of articles too though, not just ads.
