What do you do with your fashion mags?

I actually found what i was looking for:D It's purpose is actually to become a bench. The pic is not very representative because you need to put more mags there to actually become one. but i really don't think i would sit on my magazines or that i'd let anyone sit on them :huh:but it's still pretty though. But it's kinda expensive so i guess i'll have it made somewhere;)

why wheels? I don't get what's the difference between to put the mags on the floor or to put them on that

^ Well so you can move the stack of course :p ;)

I kinda like it ... but keeping your magazines under control is even better.

^well the design makes it more interesting to put it, for example, in my study room. To me it looks better than if it was on the floor. I think it's more of a decorative piece.

But this is a bit of what it says on the website
Um jeito prático e moderno de guardar as revistas em casa ou no escritório.
A practical and modern way of storing the magazines at home or in your office.

^ Practical? I don't think they have any idea how many magazines I have  Do you mind if I ask how much it is & how high you can stack 'em? Just curious ...

:lol::lol: they probably don't
It costs R$350,00 (350 reais, which is the brazilian money) About US$150,00.
I would never pay that much for it, it's too exensive IMO.I did some research and i guess it's brand is quite popular in it's area. but i've never heard of it.
And it doesn't say how high you can stack them.

^^ That wheely thing is too expensive. But, if there was ever a little flood and your magazines were on the floor they'd clearly be damaged - keeping them elevated a bit is a good idea.

Anyway, I keep my magazines in stacks and I pull them out every now and then just to look through them. I have separate stacks depending on the magazine. One for Vogue, one for Interview, one for I-D, etc.

^ Tear them apart!? That's --- crazy!! :o I'm always afraid what might happen: Anna Wintour on Line 2: "Do you have the August 1986 issue?? Good- bring it up to my office right now and hand it quietly to my assistant..." B) What if I had torn it up and thrown it away!? Huh??? :o

hahahaha hope it never happens to me, she would bite my head off :p
I used to collect lots of mags, put them in transparent bags (like the ones used for comic books) and store them in shelves but I also collect comic books, action figures, manga, dvds, cds... so after 10 years of collecting I ran out of space, and that´s when I realized that I was only interested in half of the contents.
So now I only keep the main eds and ads, it´s like 1/4 of the mag. I store them the same way but now I have lots of mags in only one shelve ^_^

That's a wonderful idea- I do pretty much the same thing but put them into page protectors and then into binders- which means I now have bookcases and closets full of binders, none as indexed as I wish they were...Maybe keeping each issues' good stuff in an individual bag would help out...good idea! :flower:

^I tear the cover and put it on the front, so I have access the same way as if it was a regular mag :)
