Inception

Omg, what an incedible film! I saw it last night and my mind is still buzzing! I think you can analyze this movie forever, there are so many layers to it! I kind of walked out with a headache afterwards  I was trying so hard to stay focused and not lose my concentration on what's going on. It was pretty hard not to... There's still some parts that I don't completely understand so I definitely want to see it again!

And sheesh, talk about a total DREAM cast!... Leo, JGL, Cillian Murphy - and MARION.... I think she might haunt my dreams with her death stare.

I think this is like the new generations Matrix movie, and its even more brilliant and visually stunning.

I saw it again for the second time yesterday. If you got confused the first time you saw Inception I highly recommend seeing it again, its a lot clearer the second time around. Totally agree about the whole Matrix thing, Inception is way better then the Matrix though! :)

I totally agree with you.

I might see it for a 3rd time but in IMAX.

Ever since the 1st and 2nd time I saw it, I am trying to see if I can figure out if he still in limbo or its actually real.

Thats one thing I like about Inception, its 1 movie. Matrix had to be 3.

Another thing I like about Inception, not a lot of CG was used during the movie.

I want to see it for a third time too! :)
Its great that not a lot of CG was used, so many films I think rely on it too much which just makes the story itself fail because they focus too much on special effects (although they are needed for films, the plot shouldn't fall to the way side).

He's not. In all the dream scenes he's wearing a wedding ring and in all the real-life sequences he isn't. He isn't wearing one at the end. There are other indicators that it's real life as well, but that's a very concrete one. I'm glad. I'd much rather have a happy ending then an ambiguous one. We've been with this character for 2+ hours, hoping he'll be rejoined with his children. For it not to happen would be something of a let-down.

I keep trying to get to see this at cinema and each time sold out or huge que :( assuming thats a good thing right and it must be very good is it one of them films you simply have to watch im cinema or could i wait for dvd?

you cant order the cheap tickets here :( and i dont have alot of money at the moment other wise yes i would that would be ovious choice haha :flower:

A fascinating film. I truly enjoyed the entire experience. And it's rare that a film literally has me on the edge of my seat.

Nolan is such a compelling director. I love his aesthetics - hyper polished, extremely dark, incredibly elegant and sophisticated, and impossibly provoking. The cast, like previously mentioned, was superb. In fact, all production elements - script, cinematography, set design, costumes, lighting, score, effects - were impeccable.

I'm definitely going to be seeing this several times, not only to pick up on more clues (although I am convinced that the ending is a reality), but also, simply, to experience a wonderful piece of filmmaking again!

Oh, and here is the video that the article posted a page or two ago talked about...an absolute stroke of genius on Zimmer and Nolan's part. So clever! I'm obsessed!

Just got back from watching it. LOVED IT! Brillant film, great cast.

I was lucky to run into my philosophy teacher who went to see it it too at the movie theatre. That calmed me down a lot, knowing I'd have someone explaining the movie to me in case I didn't get it  All my friends who had already seen it said it was super confusing. But personally I didn't find it that hard to follow. And a lot of the story is definitely up for interpretation.
I thought it was funny that Ellen Page's character was called Ariadne because we had to play the Ariadne's Thread story in my philosophy teacher's class once, so I at least had the whole maze and Minotaur thing present in my mind. Helped me understand Ariadne's role in the film. And I agree that it is somewhat similar to Matrix, but really the whole idea behind it is rather old, as there were philosopher's way back in the ancient world debating over this reality/no reality solipsism thing already. Still, this was a great modern tale incorporating this subject.

Di Caprio once again was amazing. Ellen Page was perfect for the role, too. Best movie I've seen in a while.

So I just got back and I absolutely loved it. Probably the best movie I've seen in a loooooooooong time. If not the best.

I could detect only few flaws. JGL and Tom Hardy were pure sex and Leo once again proved to be far beyond his pretty boy image. Marion was scary and Ellen the essential piece in this movie.
The major thorn in my eye was the scene with the van in the water. Hello? Since when can we open cardoors in the water? Once you're in the water, you're done.

But... I do feel like me and my friend are like the only few people on this planet who didn't find it that confusing?

They're in a dream, so they can do whatever they want. ;)

I saw the film a few days ago and looooooved. I'm def. going to see it again, it was brilliant. I was really impressed with how well the film was controlled by Christopher Nolan so that it wasn't confusing even though it had a fairly unusual plot.

I loved Marion's performace  it was really amazing

Plus 100 hipster points if you’ve already put it together that Marion Cotillard, who plays Cobb’s wife in the movie, won an Oscar for playing that same Edith Piaf in the biopic La Vie En Rose. I believe you can redeem those for a keffiyeh scarf at American Apparel.

Im watching it today. so, not reading any comments. will do it later ;)

Wow, I saw it yesterday and it was really amazing. So damn good. A very good script, great cinematography, good cast, and a very original story.

^I love the dress too! And those shoes! Especially when Leo kneels down and tries to kiss her feet...
