Interpol

Paul should hide those arms.... they're dangerous.

Daniel is always so endearing... I want to hug him.

Before I say this, I want to let it be known that I love Interpol artistically, as a band- 'Stella was a Diver...' and 'NYC' are two of the best songs ever. So I am not some crazy fangirl, but-

Paul Banks have ma babiezzzz!!!!!!!!:buzz:

there are no words to express my love for Interpol... and now that ive seen them live...god, they're just amazing!! i hope i can make it to one of their London gigs in November!

I'm seeing them for the 2nd time tomorrow!:woot::woot::woot:

I can't belive i haven't entered this thread yet... I love interpol! I missed them at some music festival in my city a couple months ago because i had to attend something family related. hopefully i'll get to see them in at the forum in la...

Pace is the Trick is such a ridiculously good song.:bounce: I can't stop listening to it, I think it's one of their best.

Generally most albums that I listen to I like it at first, then I get bored with it. But Interpol, they always have the opposit effect. I didn't like their third album so much at the beginning, but I like it now.

I want Paul's medal! :p
I'm seeing them at the LA Forum in October, I can't wait! :D This will be the fourth time and I have a hunch it'll be EPIC :shifty:

Interpol should start their own clothing line B)

I can't believe I just got the new album. But over all, decent but nothing compare to TOTBL

I was able to see them at Coachella in April (and I had seen them previously years ago when they opened for The Cure) and as much as I love them as a band, their live shows are a bit lackluster. Not much deviation from their album sound and they just kind of stand in the same place holding their instruments. Like Blocparty, I think they are a studio band. That being said, I do really like their new album.

^ Very true. Live, they are meh, but I still love to see them live and just interact with other fans.

Wow... crazy that I saw this thread from the main forum page. I'm listening to NARC right now. :crush:

i dont think so. and lets be fair, their music is kinda 'dark' its not Na Na Na Na Na ala Kaiser Chiefs ( ) i like the dark mood they transport without being too 'depressed' it just wouldnt suit their music if they jumped around going WAHOOO and stuff...
IMO their live presence suits their music perfectly, therefore i think its FANTASTIC!

^I agree fairy, I love their static presentation. When they do interact with the fans it's all the more meaningful. Like Carlos D blowing kisses to the crowd at the MSG show.
Or putting NYC and Public Pervert into the set when I saw them.
