Interview March 2017 : Brit Marling by Craig McDean

When actual talented people are featured on covers, riveting! She looks bloody fantastic, as usual.

That shot of Cara in Loewe in front of the three-way mirror is stunning! She is so gorgeous in front of the camera. She's young and I think she can grow in areas of emoting more in her pictures, but talk about raw material!

Collections is the stuff of high fashion decadence— and a healthy dose of lazed-sharp deadpan humour, witty and clever and brimming with irony. It’s even insensitive, offensive and unapologetically exclusive in the way that high fashion stories used to be: Effortlessly provocative.

I love Cara's edit. She's like a mini Freja to me

I had no idea who Brit is but what a stunning cover and editorial! Mikael's story is great as well.

Witty but also stylishly that's why I'm so in love with this Magazine.

Well, the only thing I find offensive, in a comical way, is the Elena Ceausescu hair. In fact, the girl bears a striking resemblance to young Elena.

This is a really strong issue, I love both the David Sims edit and the solo one with Cara. I think there's a soft sensuality to Mario Sorrenti's edit that makes it good, although it could have done without a few of the girls featured. I don't know how I feel about Kris being in that editorial though, she looks beautiful but she is so young..

So this cover made me curious about Brit and I started watching The OA, great show. She´s so talented :)

What an amazing issue! Craig's ed is absolutely wonderful and so is David's. Can't wait to see it in HQ. Sorrenti's story is not my taste but the cast is great (except Teddy).
