Agreed! I love my Cerf - I haven't worn it in a very long time, I think its time to break it out again.

You might have better luck buying an authentic via ebay - by the time you spend $150 on the fake... spend a little more and you could have authentic... and that marjacobs-bag.com site seems fishy - if it seems too good to be true it usually is.

I'm not going to even bother listing my NBF Balenciagas - too many to list.. I've let so many go and have kept so many... i really should do an inventory

As for other designers:

Chanel Cerf in black- Love
Chanel Cerf in tan - hate - quality is not so great, which is surprising since i loved my black one so much... not even sell-able, I think.
Chanel black Jumbo - I use this when I go out and dont want to carry all of my everyday essential stuff
Givenchy Nightingale from NBF with Ostrich handles - I have to dig this one out.. it's a lovely bag
LV SC bag in Cobalt - this bag is amazing... details are great
LV Damier Neverfull from Jacky - bought secondhand, it's a great bag for the winter
Celine Trapeze in cobalt - waiting on this to arrive

Thanks Luna I tried ebay actually and they're all pretty close to the original which is about $550-600 depending on the seller. Maybe I can find it somewhere else...

For only $500 of the original, definitely spend money on the auth. You get every use out of it and you won't have to worry about all the issues might come from fakes.
It is the same reason why I would not buy fake coach or michael kors. The reps for bags in this price range are usually not good because sellers don't have a large profit margin since the auth are quite affordable.
I'm looking for Chloe Paddington auth used bag on sale now. It's amazing how cheap they are now considering the were $2000+ when they came out.
I found some bags on ebay guaranteed to be auth by sellers that has 100% positive feedback fake. Unbelievable.

To make this thread alive, here I'm posting my find oun taobao bought it for around 3 months. It's a medium flap bag in caviar, the caviar leather is superb and the alignment is perfect I bought it at around $300++ But it's a bit too small for me, but perfect for dinner.

I've never had a problem with receiving any packages from Catty. The shipping site is often not updated or is extremely delayed in being updated. The status more than likely won't change from posting until it's received by customs, and even then it may not update until its gone through customs.

I haven't seen Jacky's, so I can't speak to the quality of his, but the auth is very big. I felt it was a lot bigger than it appears in books on the super tall models. It's kind of a clunky bag and seems rather delicate too - not fit for public transit/the city imho. The cobalt IS gorgeous though.

Does anyone own a Celine cabas? I have wanted this bag forever and am kicking myself for not getting the gray/melon combo from Jacky when he had it. That would have been such a great beach vacation bag!

Agreed - I bought an authentic gently used Chloe edith on bonanzle last year... I love it and it's a wonderful bag.. and to think it retailed for well over $1000 and i got it for like $300

After 6+ years of buying auth/rep, I've finally narrowed down my collection to just a few.

I've had probably 15 NBFs over the years. Days, courriers, works, cities, twiggies. A Chloe paddington, an auth. orange Bal. courrier, Jacky's caviar clutch, but have had to really reduce the bag size because of a messed up shoulder.

For the price, Joy's Birkins are excellent and have garnered dagger looks from women in the know.

this is the small and this is the medium...

Small:
Measures 19.5in wing tip to wing tip*
Body is 12in long 9in high 7 in deep

Large:
Measures 22in wing tip to wing tip*
Body is 13in long 10in high 7.5in deep

i also remember hearing that the new version of the large doesn't come with a shoulder strap, but that could be wrong...

The 227 I got from her was $330. I asked for the Chanel in the original section, she said is about $800. And i laughed about it

I got my prada saffiano bag in medium red with the strap from Catty. Sorry I doubted EMS. They came in 7 days. It's quite beautiful. The hardware is a little flimsy and the saffiano leather is very matte or maybe too matte. But overall it is a gorgeous bag. You cannot tell it is a fake without inspecting it closely. I didn't get a chance to take pic of it. Too bad it is too small for a small laptop. The big size without strap is definitely big enough. Not Catty's fault by the way. My fault for not measuring it. It should fit a tablet though. First day I brought it to work, my friend wanted to buy it from me at work so I sold it to her at cost. I'm probably gonna order another one because it is a great work bag. Very classy but it does not scream
"you can't afford one" like Hermes. The only thing is, kinda broke now. I bought an auth chanel yesterday. I had to admit it was an impulse buy on ebay. On top of it, i just bought an auth gucci python hysteria on ebay. I still don't know how to explain to my hubby. LOL

Well, I am not happy with T&D right now. They've got a Purple Suede RH Work for sale and I must have it. I'm supposed to be thinning the collection and then they go and put up one of my HG Balenciagas! How dare they? I can't believe they would do this to me. Purple Suede! For fall! I was waiting for a Work in just the right colour, too!
I have no choice. I have to buy it. Damn!
