OMG!!! Those Galet are lush! I'm going email T&D now. Anyone who is going to receive T&D's Galet, I will so deeply appreciate if there are mod pics. I can't take my eyes off the leather. It looks so good!

i was about to order a bal from T&D but there's always something that holding me off. i asked them to email me the pic of their bales but they said they don't have the pic but they "assure" me it's the same as authentic. and althought i've researched and heard loads of encouragement here, i'm still not 100% convinced.
i think i'm gonna go and try to order one from fang cause they provide lots of detail pics, is there someone here bought a bal from fang? i tried to search on crystal7 fang bal but find no pic except words that the bag kinda stink

I only have one NBF city (GGH Anthra 2009) that has bales...pic attached by me.
I never carried it with the strap (for that reason) as i thought the bales were to big and the wrong shape to the authentic..maybe they have changed them now hope this help
Just was going thru my messages on TFS..so many of you had PM'D me and E mailed me about how and what I used to darken the GGH...you all know who you are...funny how some members publicly condemned it, yet wanted to know how and what I used...

/\ You're welcome...Like I said i have no idea if the newer city's and part times have upgraded/updated bales like the O rings ect....I basically always bought the work size..this city was a new to me city from a very special young lady
As far as i know Crystal is the only member that has a fang and a NBF to be able to compare.

The bales are not the same as the real deal, I work in a manufacturing environment so know all about perfection! And was surprised by how not 100% the bales are, I mean don't get me wrong, they're not awful but I think they're the biggest let down with T&D. The leathers are amazing, the colours perfect, the customer service excellent but the bales are 90%.

From the pics of fangs they seem better and B&S also seem good or at least better than T&D.

After all that I still buy T&D as they make such beautiful bags and I'm hoping one day they'll perfect the hardware

I don't have a Fang bag as I don't have his info but here are pics of bales of my B&S GGH so you can judge for yourselves. I took pics with and without flash so you can see the tone of the hardware too. Although I don't really check on the bales much and whatnot, as long as they're not completely off and I'm happy with the leather I'm good. And I AM happy with the leather.

muffintop, i must say those bales has the perfect curvature! wow and the leather is great too?

anyway, i am tempted to order Fang's moutarde on her taobao, since T&D won't make moutarde anytime soon... but it is in chinese and i might need a taobao agent. I'm not sure the leather is up to par with T&D though. In leather department IMHO T&D still wins.

Lovelovemode Just email fang and talk to her thur email she speaks english...You dont need an taobao agent it will be a waste of money..Just send her the pictures of what you want she gets back to you within a day...I do it all the time

orchidian- definitely get an antik cervo prada from catty if you can.. her pics do it no justice and when you first get it don't be afraid to break it in, the shape and leather will change in no time. and since it's cheaper than a bag from T&D i'm more satisfied

shelleybean- SERIOUSLY! and so glad you didn't have chemical fumes coming out of your window across the border lol

gotta check out the taobao site for moutarde. i love that color! still sad T&D aren't doing it anymore.

The Galet looks really pretty. I'm not into taupe, but if it turns out that it's greyer than the authentic, I might spring for a SGH City or PT... I guess I'll wait until some of you ladies get your bags and have a look.

Also, I don't have an iPad, but I love T&D's little iPad clutches! So cute!

i think the galet bags are dead-on to the auth, but because t&d's GGH isn't quite as warm as bal's, the galet doesn't quite take on the greige that an auth galet with GGH has. i do not think galet looks anything like argent, which is far more pale and milky.

crystal7 what can you tell between an NBF and fang? in terms of leather and hardware details?
i understand you mention about the smell on fang's but my friend said NBF also smells and the problem can be fixed with an LMB product she got

Sorry to bug so much, but has anyone had any experience with Jacky's damier trevi? Is the shape right? What about his mini flaps?

I also bought a damier neverfull gm from Catty, and it looks great, but the canvas seems thinner. Could it be because of the size? If anyone has pics, that'd be great. I'm trying to compare to pics from the Other Place...should the neverfull GM stand up on its own or are the ladies stuffing it?

Halp! Any help will quell my current obsessions.
