Maldives seems to be slowly catching up to my "List of Needs".
This is not good.

The vert deau is too green for me

Does anyone here have one? I don't know when nbf did that colour... but if anyone here owns one, show me a photo please?

Spent the last little while scouring the internets looking at Bal bags, and I've figured it out.

I need a sahara velo (gsh or regular hardware).
Do we know if T&D are considering making this colour?

So my new list, as far as I believe right now (at 3am) is:
-electric blue gsh work or part time
-anthracite ggh city or part time
-sahara rh or gsh velo
-maldives gsh city or part time

Damn.

I don't know if T&D would do Vert D'eau again. There is a new very lovely color this Spring called Pappeete. It is brighter and greener than Vert D'eau.
Is there any interest here in Pappeete. Here is a picture courtesy of the purse forum. I own a Papeete Day bag and the color is gorgeous and not washed out at all. The last picture is Papeete compared to Maldives and Tiffany Blue. I think that this is where you can truly see the beauty of Papeete. P.S. I can get T&D this color swatch so if there is interest there is a good chance of this being made.


bagalicious: I don't think that T&D will do Sahara. They just did Praline last Spring. I personally don't want any light colors I want deeper colors in the Velo. It is a cross body bag and will be touching clothing and jeans. The Velo in sahara would have so much denim transfer. I for one prefer it in darker earth colors like black, canard, anthracite, outremer and olive green.

madmurdermud- i don't know if the boys have confirmed that they are making a velo per se, But i think we can say it's 99% confirmed thats it's going to happen as our lovely coco is sending them her authentic canard velo in a few weeks so they can have the pattern..correct coco?

I think I need to get me a chanel, It's my birthday in May and I'm going to see a broadway show + dinner with Mr Bagalicious and my best friends, I think that jumbo bag like Arisaa has will be the birthday bag! Annanyc..do you still have yours? I think I need to get it.

I know Sahara is light, But it's gorgeous, and i don't work in a coal mine I would use it when wearing summery floaty dresses and just be careful, I love how Kim Kardashian looks carrying her sahara, I love the olive skin, dark hair and light bag combo. I much prefer sahara to praline as it is warmer in tone and more of a richer buttery nude, I have a praline CP and it's way to ashy for my taste. (but there again praline is the straw that broke the camels back) However..enough whining as i do a have a Spectacular sandstone GGH work which will be my summer neutral.
Clearly i will take the velo in whatever color the boys make, My guess is i will choose black, as I don't know if Anthra 2010 is a possibility. And i wouldn't want in another outremer or sang....another X body black bag to add to my other 3!(I use my black X lg PS1 for work x body and my dyed black pom pom and my black GGH PT) Thankfully i have the VG courier.

I always loved VD and maldives, so if papeete was similiar and Coco did decide to send it to the boys that would be vunderbah!

yeah and someone pointed out that the HW on the neutral PS1 might be wrong on the jacky version, so if anyone is interested in getting it i would research it if i were you first.

bagalicious: T&D have confirmed that they are doing the Velo. This is certain as they have already taken orders for it. People have actually paid for the bag. They will have my bag next week. I like Sahara but not for a Velo. I also think that Sandstone is much nicer than Sahara and if I had to choose between Sahara and Noix it would be Noix. Many of us have been waiting for something in the brown family and I don't really want another tan color.

I don't think the boys will do an Anthra 2010, as they said they doubted it in my E mail last week. So just the heads up ladies...think velo in Black,Outremer and Sang.
The only new color that they have confirmed is GALET...As far as i know they are NOT doing Noix or Sorbet unless they get a swatch to send to the Italian tannery. Joanne is your Noix up for a little X country journey? You know that if you send the boys your Authentic Noix they will reward you...just puttin it out there

For me this is easy.
I have 1 regular one day job every week and work with 8 people and I wear a X body bag, i don't carry any of my works or other styles, on that job. so they see a small and beleiveable bag wardrobe. maybe a rotation of 5 bags make that job.
All my good friends know where they come from and how I aquire them.
And all the other people that i see and work with just see the bag that i happen to be carrying that day, And I asumme that they assume it's real. I guess I'm lucky in that regard as I'm a freelancer, so i don't have to be in the same setting of building every day with the same people.
