thanks! the leather is incredible. I have a pretty good 40cm gold togo birkin (unknown seller) that my friend sent me as a gift several years ago and it is SO heavy, stiff and boxy--probably has to do with the leather and size-- and of course OMAS blows it out of the water.
the details are impeccable. the stitching is upward slant, the heat stamps are deep (but not too deep), the hardware is shiny, heavy and high quality, and the leather is so puddly and lightweight. I love how it barely holds its shape even with stuff inside.

I highly recommend OMAS. I can't speak to the quality regarding Jacky or Catty since I haven't had one of theirs to compare.
If I wasn't in such a rush to get this bag for upcoming travel, I'd have placed my original custom order but those take approximately 20 days to make I will as soon as I get back, though.

The NBF Family

AmethystSparkle That's one gorgeous Omas Birkin. Congrats!

Sorry for the delayed pic posts, but here they are. I'm fairly new to the NBF family. So far I have the Outremer GSH City, Sang-poupre RH First, Black GSH Flat Clutch and the new Black GGH City.

I must say the Sang-poupre was a great choice and the leather is all smooshy now I used it on all my travels this past summer and received tons of compliments on it. Everyone was in awe with the smooshy leather and saying how they wish they can afford this little item - I just nod and smile

The leather on this recent black batch is jet black and the leather looks worn in. I took a comparison pic wit the previous batch. I'm so glad that I waited out to get the city in this batch - what a difference in color and leather texture as well.

Ok, I don't want to ramble on here, but I also like to apply LMB on my bags when I first receive them. The Miracle Shield works wonder in getting rid of the shine look - and I just love the smell.

i purchased a RGGH black city from Fang and the hardware is really shiny.
Of course, I didn't read about it here until after i bought it. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on taking the shine away?

I'm looking forward to an nbf bag soon.

Oh man! The postman literally just delivered this lovely parcel to me! I got this great, black, inky, matte CHEVRE city from a TFS lady. It's my HG; I'm am so happy!

I do have a question for all you NBF ladies that have experimented with leather conditioners. The leather on this is really thin and worn-in. That was out of my control/TFS girl's control, but I want to make the most of this bag. Do you know of a product that can make the leather stiffer, or chewier, or just thicker?

Or something that reassures me that this bag will be with me for a long time before it dies?

i think LMB color enhance will make it look more beautiful. bring out the color more. dnt know if it will make it look thicker though.

Have you guys seen the new Mulberry Tillie. She is pretty but I prefer simplicity of Alexa.

I highly doubt that Jacky will be able to come up with a decent rep of the Oak Leopard.. the colour and pattern looks more complicated than the Camelhair one. It'll probably end up a half-***ed version of the Leopard that's too ugly and rep-obvious to bring out IRL..

of course, I'd be more than glad if I was wrong but the pattern seriously looks way too complicated to rep.

Hi I have bought a city from fang in the past as well and I found the smell of the bag to be very nauseating even after airing the bag out for several months can I ask if your city had a strong scent to it? TIA

Leather Revive

I know there have to be some directions somewhere on the thread for
the Leather Revive directions...but I can't find 'em.

I applied it to the Noix and the black just as the directions said: with my hand first working it in, and then with a cloth to make sure it was applied evenly everywhere. I was very careful not to get the zippers (will they stain if LR gets on them...?) and then wrapped them up in saran wrap.

What do I do now?
