Oh no! Do you have the tracking number that you can punch into USPS website? I'm in Canada and I had that same problem, but I was able to track down the package online and know where it was being held. I had to leave on vacation and I even called the post office to hold my package a few days longer.

I've had a package held up for 5 days at customs. I received it a week later and it was fine. I think they are sometimes clogged up and your package just sits there for a bit longer.

I am so annoyed!

USPS says they left a notice on Monday for my amethyst GSH city and black GSH day. No notices were left and I have been waiting/calling. Nothing!

My sang RH city from Australia has been in LA customs for 6 days.. has this happened to anyone?! I'm in San Diego. It should have been here already if it was released..

I'm worried about my other parcels.. not sure what's going on or if I'm having really horrible luck!

Have any of you purchased his armarante? I ended up passing on that opportunity.

I got Jacky's Kelly Longue in tan, and I LOVE it! The leather feels incredible--soft and thick and very fine-grained, and smells divine. My guess is that it's close to what Swift is/feels like.

Omg.. just received my sang rh city, amethyst gsh city, anthra gst pt, and black gsh day.... all are droolworthy. The leather on the sang is most like auth. Going to try to take the shine off the anthra and black. Post pics tomorrow!

I've got an Anthra Rggh City from B&S (they call it 'charcoal grey'). The hardware is not too shiny and looks pretty darn close to the authentic bags I've seen. Hope this helps!

rodarte - j's LV SC is so well made. i saw the auth at the boutique and there's no difference with j's on the structure. j's will hold up without any padding inside

I see J is also making Celine bags. Does anyone know if he'll make the classic box bag? Saw the auth a while ago and love it, but he hasn't replied to my email (I only sent it three weeks ago haha)

Coleyx3: In regards to Joy's watercolor speedy-you said the colors are on-do you feel her pictures appear washed out? I was trying to compare auth to her pics and hers looked faded. Maybe just her photos? Do you know if the darker of the watercolor speedy's have a black backround (as some sellers state) or is the the traditional brown monogram with benefits? I have always loved that version....

he had the luggage tote on his site last week and now it's disappeared. i also hope he does the box bag...he had the H constance up for a long time and it's a very similar bag, so i think he'll be able to do it.

Black City after treatment

Need your comments ladies...(fyi...due to various pics, as well as modeling shots (!!!) being stolen and used on seller websites (discovered by a very alert person on a rep forum)...please watermark all your photos!)

After using LR once as well as LMB Pre-Treatment (the center area of the skin was a bit less distressed and ultimately a bit less shiny to begin with--this product was recommended a while back on an auth bal forum to remove bal's shine--I don't believe it still available for sale) on select parts to completely even it out, which it did beautifully, this is the end result.

Please remember, I am a complete noob to bals...so I am not 100% sure of the endearing characteristics that bals should or should not possess.

First and foremost--

How do the natural distressing variations look?

Are the 'ears' of the zipper supposed to hang out or be tucked in? Is the strap on the City utilized...or is it more just for decoration?

While you are looking...please pardon me...it appears I need to go take my OCD meds.

handbagdiva it looks good! everything is a matter of personal taste. i like the ears out, tassels not hanging out, and i like to use the shoulder strap.

handbagdiva - gorgeous! what a staple bal. you did a great job conditioning her. i use the front pocket all the time - so convenient just to stuff receipts, lip balm, compact, etc in there! i take all my tassels off and carry by the strap
