thesiren- the marine 08 was made with GGH in the EC, and I am sure that bleu roi can pass for marine I love this combo so classy it could be dressed up or great with a casual look too

I'm also up for this combination! I left the guys an iOffer message, and they replied that bleu roi wasn't made with GGH. So I said that I knew that and hoped they would do it anyway. Their reply:

"No we wont be doing BR in GGH.

wow that is quite odd when I asked them a few weeks ago they said they WILL be making bleu roi with GGH

Hi Chupi-no it's not as pale as the picture its darker and very bright I would say darker than her pictures IRL very bright a purple/pink I used to have T&D's amethyst it was way too dark for me. I bought this one to replace fangfang's magenta because of the smell I couldn't use it even after several washings

I think I will get my rocco today it says it's in town please, pleeaseeeeeeee Mr. Pooostman

I have the officer and GSH already never thought I would like navy and gold I am mostly a silver person.

Which is a better colour: B&S or Fang? They're just that bit more expensive than T&D so I'm being super cautious! Don't like the idea of stinky Fangs That's exaclty why I don't want T&D's ame, I think it's too subtle.

/\ wow it is very very similar to the picture you posted, I would say 95% the same color and the leather on mine is ultra smooth and not dry at all!! I would be careful of buying the bag from fangfang the only reason I have is because of the smell otherwise I love her bag the leather is amazing the color was gorgeous a tad lighter then buy&sells, more pink then purple whereas buy&sells is a bit more purple. I would buy more bags from fangfang to if i knew the smell wasn't there or at least not as much, who knows though i bought it a few months ago might be okay now

what do you guys think of the new anthra leather? Is it too veiny to pass off as auth?

I've rarely seen a bal bag with that leather. What do you all think?

have changed to lessen the smell? I'm thinking if they knew that it was
keeping peep's from buying they might take more aggressive action to get
that fixed.

I love the Gucci Joy in calf that is on the site now...yum!

Do you use your magenta city much? I think I would use it as it's be a lovely pop of colour for grim winter.. Where's your rocco?

Kimkhuu: My black city was pretty veiny when it arrived and i've leather revived it into soft supple saturated goodness! I think with enough conditioner it'd be gorgeous

i was told the same, but who knows with t&d. they seem to say whatever strikes at the time they're penning the email.

kimkhuu - MANY older bal bags had veins. this is kind of what put them on the map for collectors. many of the early colors were quite vein-y and they've been doing variations of anthra for years.

chupi - i also love a shot of color against winter's palette of bleak shades. i love my magenta work with gray,

Is it thick? Thin? Veiny? Smooth?

The last I heard was that they're not doing GRGH at all. They had 10 each for anthra and black and needed 30 (total I think) Makes me wonder why they didn't just decide to do one color in hopes for a minimum. Oh well.

Hope my little bagsters have sufficiently recovered from the holiday weekend.

Chupi-your welcome I do use it in the summer with whites or light / dark blues it really pops but I will use it in the winter months as well, I rotate my bags often This just in..... my rocco is at the post office just have to pick her up will report back later

HandbagDiva-I did mention it to fang and she told me to wear it alot and that it would get rid of the smell even after two washings its still there

Helloearth: NOOOOOO!!!! Or rather no, don't go there The dimensions are off, I ordered a black OS and it was about 3 inches too wide. Coco109 found the same thing. I have a Jacky Alexa and it beautiful, even took it in to meet it's authentic cousin in a deaprtment store and it passed muster

I just received Jacky's rocco from another member on tfs and I love it! The leather is super soft and amazing. From all the reviews, I thought the bag would be super heavy but I think its not that much heavier than a gh city. And when I carry it with the strap, it's quite light.
