Hi all! Do you ever just have a sh*tty day and ya feel like you can't get anything right?? Well that was my day...until I picked up my lovely new reissue 26 from Fang. It honestly made my day. Is this the tell tale signs of an addiction? Lol. The stitching and structure is far beyond J's flaps and is worth the extra $100 when it looks this good. I was in Seattle Chanel in Nordstroms 2 wks ago and it looks identical (w/ the exception of the underside x screws as discussed some pages back - but who sees that?) I will post pics of the reissue & my haul from J soon! I am so happy
Ps- fangs bag had no horrendous smell to it - just a slight mothy smell that was gone in a fw hrs.

Has anyone ever had trouble getting a tracking number from Fang? I paid last Thursday and still don't have one. She has told me it shipped but she was in the country for the holiday and now is waiting on the courier for it. I have always gotten tracking numbers from Jacky and Catty so quickly, I am starting to get nervous...

Don't worry - I had the same feeling last week when it had been a few days since I made payment to her before I got the tracking. I paid her on the 22nd, got a tracking on the 26th (tracking didn't show anything until it reached Canada on the 4th) but I just got it earlier today. From personal experience and from other rave reviews on here, She doesn't seem like the kind of mystery seller on ioff who just takes your money and never ships HTH!

Thanks so much frefallin. I paid her on the 3/30 and nothing yet. She is great to work with other than that super nice, always responds - just doesn't give me the number. So glad you got your bag today.

- Which seller is best for Chanel quilted? Catty has more styles but Jackie is significantly cheaper? Is Jackie a true rep or no?
- Are Catty's Chanel colors authentic reps? I've never seen some of those shades
- Any thoughts on Jackie's Orange Hermes Clutch?

I live in NYC so a bit nervous since I have a lot of friends and colleagues with auth. and want to be careful with my new debut.

I want the rose gold hw for the seigle clutch but they are saying they cant find the zippers. I was wondering if we got enough girls to ask for it, would they do it? Also, has anyone ever tried ultrafashion_bag on ioffer? she has a gray clutch similar to galet which i missed when the boys made it im scared to buy bal from anyone other than t&d.

FYI,

Only thebest4me (and other newbies or posters returning after a while away),

There are nine threads of ioffer handbags and while you needn't read each and every post, it is part of the community rules that poster do a bit of searching around for answers before posting a question/suggestion that has been addressed and discussed many times before.

The "best" can many times be subjective. It's pretty well established that T&D makes the best Balenciagas for your money. Catty and Jacky are tops--for different reasons--for LV and Chanel. You can read through threads/search to find what peoples' reviews of their bags are and decide which is best for you.

I'll try to answer ur question about Chanel and spare you the trial of looking through 9 threads for a needle in a haystack and then possibly finding outdated information. Right now it seems Fang is the best for Chanel. I have seen people specifically rave about the reissue 227 as well as the Jumbo so I would guess these are two safe bets if you're thinking of purchasing a Chanel from Fang. I don't think you have to worry about anyone knowing Fang's are not auth its pretty spot on from what I gather. I personally don't think Jacky's Chanels are great.
I too was looking at Jacky's Hermes and some of them look really good. Many people shy away from Hermes but truthfully I don't think the average person would be able to distinguish say Jacky's or Fangs Hermes from the auth in part because its such a plain bag that there's very little distinguishing give aways and its so exclusive most people have never really handled and auth. From what I gather the main thing to be concerned with (assuming u are dealing with a "vouched for" vendor) is the stitching on the bag and making sure it is slanted and not straight...overall Hermes and I'm mainly speaking of the Birken or Kelly is actually a very safe bag imo to carry as long as you have the presence to carry it off. As for the clutch perhaps someone else can chime in on that.

I have two of Jacky's Hermes Longue clutches (I'm assuming you're talking about his orange Longue clutch).

The stitching has a little bit of a slant--I'm not sure it's as slanted as authentic, but the stitching is thick and somewhat slanted. I think it looks pretty good, but Jacky's "swift" leather (while beautifully smooth and nice feeling) is probably softer than Hermes swift leather, which I think is fairly stiff and holds its shape better. The bag is still beautiful, but someone picking it up who knew a lot about H would probably know that it was off.

Take that with a grain of salt--I haven't seen much of the authentic Hermes, and only know what I know from the internet. If someone has some more H experience and knows more about swift leather, feel free to chime in or correct me.

I totally agree with onlythebest. Provided your crowd doesn't pick up and analyze your Hermes (looking for slanted threading) you should be okay. My only concern with J's hermes (and some of his other brands) is his piping on lighter coloured bags. I have forever wanted a grey 35cm Kelly however I'm hesitant as his close up shots have shown pretty messy piping on the edges. Which is why I almost always opt for his black bags; leaving a very sad looking closet I also agree with OTB that you need to have a certain presence for others to believe you're carrying a $10K+ purse.

And I just received my first 226 Reissue from Fang and its very well done. Pics to come tonight.
