Hi, hope you dont mind me asking but i have also just placed an order woth Jackie and he has requested Western Union, I have no clue what i am doing as have always used paypal, any info would be most appriciated.

Thnaks

I have always done Western Union at the grocery store for Jacky orders. It is super easy and no one ever questions you. I was so nervous the first time I made my husband do it while I waited in the car. Then I just got totally used to it. Just have your cash ready and the information that Jacky gives you, fill out the form and you will be on your way. Hope that helps :)

Hey kimt -

It is probably easier to find a local WU agent and fill it out in person. I do believe it is cheaper as well (in Canada, it costs about $10 to send to China (with him receiving USD on his end) Online i believe costs $30? Might be different in other countries. I find its actually cheaper than paypal, and Ive never had issues with J in terms of no shipment.

If J has sent you his WU details then take that info to the WU agent and fill it out. Its pretty straight forward. Just make sure he receives the total in USD on his end. Then once you've made payment, you'll get a printout of the info of the Sender (ie; Your first, last name, country of origin), the receiver (his first, etc ) and then the amount received and the MTCN number.

Just email him back with all that info so he can ship out your bags when he picks up the payment.

HTH!!:flower:

ILOVEBAGS, i also asked for the GRGH in the siegle colour from T&D. Specifically the giant work or city bag. They told me they would be in stock in "8 or 9 days" and this was about a week ago. So pretty soon, I guess just keep checking back?

I kinda like the idea of posting a periodical 'who does it best' summary. I remember when I was a total noob and would endlessly search all the threads for info. I would find a lot of info on sellers that didn't exist anymore or bags that weren't even made anymore. It's always good to get an update on this stuff-especially with sellers like jacky, whose quality isn't always consistent with leather, etc. (ex. chanel flaps).

And actually, when new members - or even older 'absent' members go to search for things like 'best chanel' this section of posts will come up (and hopefully we'll have less 'jibber jabber' and whatnot)

Anyway on to my REAL question! :)

When's the last time anyone has ordered a Chloe bag from Jacky??

I'm slightly obsessing over the new small marcie with the braided front he has. I've been looking for a nice cognac-colored bag for a LONG time and this one is gorgeous. Any ideas on quality?

Thank you for that info! I also think it's easier to do WU in person but here in the US it's the same pice, $14, online or with an agent. I send Jacky money in his currency though, not USD. He never specified so I never asked but I thought it would be easier for him not to have to exchange currencies. Did he ask you to send it in USD?

I got my tan PS1 from J. :woot::woot::woot: It's stunning!! I  it! The leather is exceptional...silky smooth, buttery soft and smells great. The bag is structured without being the least bit stiff. All the pockets make it really easy to organize my things and not have it be too stuffed. I much prefer it to my Alexa. It's so much easier to get in and out of. I know I'm not the only one who purchased it recently because it sold out just days after I ordered mine!

I'm still interested in the large version so please let me know if you want Jacky's large tan PS1 (but please don't PM me if you're only looking for his info because I don't give it out). :flower:

ETA: Regarding who does what best... I totally understand coming here and asking that question. I know what it's like to be new and have no clue and be overwhelmed. But I also get it from the mods' perspective because having that question posted over and over again is frustrating because it takes up thread space. But, like SMkelly said, "best" is objective!! There is no "best" because everyone has different criteria for what makes a bag "the best". Some people would spit coffee all over their monitor if they saw fang's prices for a Chanel. They could be perfectly happy with one from Catty. Therefore the best to them, is Catty. Someone else might only be looking for a Bal with dipped bales so they would have to pass on an NBF... I'm using scenarios that are out there, I know. My point is that no list can truly encompass who is the best to everyone and the BEST way to know who is doing what is to READ THE THREAD. If it's too much work for you to keep up with it, then do a quick keyword search for the brand you're looking for. Or, scan the last 10 pages or so. Truly, you can't expect someone else to do the work for you. Yes, ask questions and get feedback! But it ultimately comes down to what you want most and the details that matter most to you. It's always a risk too because no matter how good Sally so and so's fill in the blank bag was last week, you might get a different batch this week and it might not be exactly the same quality. There's always some risk involved.

a reminder about a few things:

1. the rules for this thread are in post #1 which have been decided on by the entire mod team. it doesn't matter if you have 80 posts or 8000 posts, all members are expected to abide by the same rules. this thread in particular has grown immensely (which is why we have 9 threads) because of chat/questions/etc. of things already covered in other threads. we are trying to keep the thread from growing so quickly, so we ask that all members utilize the search function (which works very well either through tFS or google by adding fashionspot to your query). you don't need to search all nine threads (all the threads have dates in them, so i wouldn't go back too far, maybe a year or so).

2. it is up to individual members to decide if they want to answer pm's and questions from new members. no one should be chided for helping or not helping.

3. to that effect, please be respectful of all members, new and old in your interactions.

if anyone has any questions, please pm myself or another mod team member...now back to the topic...

Jacky asked me to send him USD. the exchange rate at WU is always lower than exchange outside, that's why everyone doing WU prefer to receive USD so they can exchange somewhere else :)

i dont mind answer questions that i can, but sometime it is annoying, very annoying when someone ask the question that was answer just a page or 2 back. or something like...who has the best bbag?! DUH! read just couple pages at least :lol:

comparison pics of Seigle, Sahara and Noix.

Seigle and Noix are similar only in that they are cool-toned browns, but they are completely different shades. I love them both and have ordered a First, Work and GRGH PT in Seigle.

Amethyst,

A super-quick reminder to credit your photos; I'm assuming they're yours...

Thanks! And I just want to reach through the screen and grab them!

Shelley

Thanks for the beautiful pics, Amethyst!! The leather looks scrumptious. :)

I'm assuming Seigle is on the left in the first pic?

I have a quick question about Jacky and Western Union.

Does he change his name periodically? Because the last time I ordered from him, his name was different (J***** D***) from this time (E**** L**).

Just a precaution. Thanks!

Hey all...

My new haul! First is Fang's 226 (smaller size) vintage hw reissue which I've included some detailed pics since everyone always wonders what the difference is b/w J's and Fangs and is it worth the extra $. IMO, yes it is. Then I have J's monogram delightful pm, damier ebene eva clutch, stephen sprouse leopard stole and keychain/charm.

FINALLY! A Delightful PM. This bag is on my "I'll just die if I don't get this bag" list. How do you like it? The PM size seems large enough as I once saw a GM and it was just massive. It would have been a great bag to tote your dog around in - a Saint Bernard that is! If you wanted to post a mod shot, well.... how cool would that be, huh? From what I've "researched", Jacky's version seems to be pretty good - can you confirm this?
Congrats on all your purchases.

Oh wow, Shelleybean, you've just stopped me from purchasing Jacky's Delightful GM. I didn't really realize it was so massive. I was drawn to it because of the additional zippers-- but I certainly don't want to carry something that's big enough to carry a big dog in!

I was comparing Jacky's (pm, mm, and gm) to a bunch of authentics online and they seem spot on. Of course comments from someone who actually has their bag in hand will be more useful

Well, size is really a personal opinion, Orchidian. Some people really like big bags. I like the PM size because all I really need to carry with me is my wallet, make-up pouch, phone, an accessories pouch/wristlet with various little goodies in it, and that's pretty much it. Anything else like water, a cardigan, ballet flats... goes in a separate tote. The Delightful PM measures 18.1" x 10.2" x 7.1" which is plenty big enough for me.
The measurements for the Delightful GM are:
22.8" x 12.6" x 8.3" (LxHxD)

These are the measurements for the Keepall 55:
21.6" x 12.2" x 9.4" (LxHxD)

I know, right?

suede balenciagas

Some lovely buys Freefallin.

And thanks for posting about the GRGH zips Amethyst Sparkle but now I am lusting after the suede bags in a similar colour to siegle, like this:
