I was at neimans today looking at their bal clutches and they look larger than t&ds clutches. I measured mine and its smaller than the measurements from bals website. is that normal or did I get a defective bag?

The boys have been known to release bags that are just slightly off true measure. I think they've corrected that now.

Anyone who has recent experience may be able to speak of this, but that's what I know.

He can be hit-and-miss. But I've never had a shipment take forever. He seems very fast as far as that goes.

I think on average once Jacky ships it out his packages reach me in about 4 to 5 days. This is the US east coast btw.

As long as your package doesnt get stuck in customs it should be pretty quick depending on where you live.

I kinda like the idea of posting a periodical 'who does it best' summary. I remember when I was a total noob and would endlessly search all the threads for info. I would find a lot of info on sellers that didn't exist anymore or bags that weren't even made anymore. It's always good to get an update on this stuff-especially with sellers like jacky, whose quality isn't always consistent with leather, etc. (ex. chanel flaps).

And actually, when new members - or even older 'absent' members go to search for things like 'best chanel' this section of posts will come up (and hopefully we'll have less 'jibber jabber' and whatnot)


Anyway on to my REAL question!

When's the last time anyone has ordered a Chloe bag from Jacky??

I'm slightly obsessing over the new small marcie with the braided front he has. I've been looking for a nice cognac-colored bag for a LONG time and this one is gorgeous. Any ideas on quality?

I wanted to get his small marcie with the braided details too! He just added a new 'camel' colour. But upon closer inspection, his small marcies have two golden notches in front which the spring 2011 braided marcies don't. Only the old non-braided marcies (without long strap) have them. Nitty gritty, but it's quite an obvious inconsistency so I decided not to get it. His other chloes look okay though.

Ladies, can anyone give me some critical advices regarding Jacky's Mulberry Alexa in Oak or the Tillie? Is the leather as soft as the auth (with usage) and the hardware a good match? I always buy silver hwd as I'm afraid that the reps cannot get the right gold-tone for the hw.

Can I get thoughts on which is better? J's Mono Alma or his mono tivoli pm? I haven't seen either IRL so hard to compare his pics - I'm looking for a classic top handle that isn't a speedy. Thanks all!

Finally my Seigle GSH City is im my hands!!!! I already felt in love with it
the leather is thick and chewy and medium distressed as I like, not dry and not shiny. I'm very impressioned by the new hardware so shiny, I think they are making a very good job!!
In my opinion T&D are the best!!!

I thought the tivoli looked really good till i saw the inside patch with the heatstamp. I know noone sees it but us, but i cant stand the crappy looking stiching and print. Granted the one i receive may not have that, but it sends a red flag for me when J chooses a photo like that to display that model you know what i mean? I'm looking at Fangs Lv's right now...
