I do have a little collection going but I often sell ones I get bored of! LOL The tivoli was oiled with olive oil and baby oil. That speedy was for a friend but I took a pic of it so we all can see what J's level looks like, and I have a speedy from Fang coming for myself so I'll post those after. I"m hoping I won't have to do too much to Fang's bags. I will pm you the "oil instructions" LOL

Hello everyone - haven't been here in a while in an attempt not to spend money (!) but everyone's pics of Seigle were just too nice, so I've decided to go for my first Work (RH).

However... I've emailed T&D three times since last Monday (almost two weeks ago) and left a message on iOffer - and still no reply. All I want is for them to invoice me! Is anyone else having issues with getting in touch with them at the moment...? :/

I seem to be having the same type of trouble with buyandsell.
Im trying to get the light grey city and a pair of flats but she isnt sending me an invoice. :C

Oh my god... I just tried to make an actual purchase on iOffer directly and I got this message: "This seller is currently not accepting offers or purchases made by you." WHAT? WHY?!

I don't understand this at all. We had issues over the broken BDR First I received, but we resolved that amicably over 3 months ago (I never even received a partial refund as agreed, just decided to suck it up & forget about it).

I've bought things for them from Bal stores here and I thought we had a good relationship. I'm devastated. And I NEED my Seigle Work!

Any advice...?

As I remember, you were convinced that their BDR was the wrong color and made a bit of a fuss about it. Several girls with BDR bags chimed in and posted pics of theirs to assure you that yours wasn't off or different. I know this thread is considered a place to vent, but every seller can easily read the posts here.... They are smart to consider who is possibly damaging their business and it's their right to look out for their bottom line.

T&D are known for excellent customer service and always resolving issues fairly in the end. Personally, I think resolving issues directly with the seller and leaving it off the board is the best way to go. Why bring drama here? It will leave you in good standing with the sellers to keep it off the board.

I have two GSH City bags - Argent & Magenta (with the old dull GSH) which were purchased from T&D a long time ago. I contacted the boys and got the GSH of both bags changed recently. The difference is really remarkable. The new GSH is much more sparkly and also shorter in the height of every 'thimble' (more accurate to authentic GSH). I'm as happy as a clam with my 'new' bags!

I guess what I'm trying to say is, buy the current batch of NBF GSH bags with ease. I'm awaiting the arrival of my Seigle GSH City bag from the boys. Will post pics once I receive it.

Did anyone ever get around to buying J's Chanel shopper totes? I'm torn between his Maxi caviar w/ gold, and his caviar w/ gold shopper. I know he fixed his CCs so they are stitched rather than sewn on.

Freefallin and Madamerousseau- I spent a lot of time looking at J's shopper totes and something about the stitched CC's looked off to me- They just looked too big and too thin....Didn't sit right with me so I didn't order :/

Did T&D change the thimble sizes for JUST the giant silver one or also the giant gold one?

Can someone confirm my research on the giant stud differences?
I found pics of the old and new. (pics are borrowed-- thank you).

OLD thimble studs-- less shiny and it's a bit shorter in size

NEW thimble studs-- more shiny and it's a bit taller in size

I realized that the NEWER silver studs have this type of rivet (pic below)... but only on the SILVER and not the gold giant studs.

Can anyone check on their bags? it's like that on mine.

Isn't this the WRONG type of rivet (for silver) compared to the auth one?
My gold giant studs are correct though. ( I have the newer GGH.)

Comparison Pics: New GSH vs Old GSH

I found my NBF Officier GSH Mid-day bag with the old GSH (I didn't bother changing the hardware because I'd given it to my sister as a gift). I've taken some photos in comparison with my Argent GSH City (with the new GSH).

The last pic (of the new GSH on my Argent bag) is very accurate to how the new GSH looks in real life.

If you compare the pics of the individual thimbles (pics 2 and 3), you will see that not only is the new GSH more shiny, the top part of the thimble is also slightly curved down the side. The top part of the old thimble is completely flat with a sharper edge.

I have measured the height of both new and old thimbles. I have found no difference in the height. In my previous post, I did state that the new thimbles seem shorter in height; they only appear to be shorter due to the top rounded edge but really aren't in real life.
