Is there anyone else that bought the ardoise in gsh in any style? I want to check out the leather, but there's only two different pictures i can find on the picture thread. The boys are sending a gsh city to me this week and I can't wait. Hopefully it's the type of leather I asked for!! eeek

^^^ When you get it, please share pics! I've been trying to decide whether i want the ardoise with rh or gsh. I find the ardoise looks brighter and younger looking with the gsh (weird? i know) and the RH more classic, everyday.

I also want to thank all the ladies for the bag love! My friend has the auth Tivoli pm and she said it hurts her to know she spent $1200 on it when mine looks so darn good and the only diff btwn ours is that hers has a receipt. hehehe.

I found my NBF Officier GSH Mid-day bag with the old GSH (I didn't bother changing the hardware because I'd given it to my sister as a gift). I've taken some photos in comparison with my Argent GSH City (with the new GSH).

The last pic (of the new GSH on my Argent bag) is very accurate to how the new GSH looks in real life.

If you compare the pics of the individual thimbles (pics 2 and 3), you will see that not only is the new GSH more shiny, the top part of the thimble is also slightly curved down the side. The top part of the old thimble is completely flat with a sharper edge.

I have measured the height of both new and old thimbles. I have found no difference in the height. In my previous post, I did state that the new thimbles seem shorter in height; they only appear to be shorter due to the top rounded edge but really aren't in real life.

Also... can someone confirm back the rivets?
Are your SILVER GH rivet on the back have the c-curve rivet or the flat straight across?
My GOLD GH rivet is straight across slits on the rivets... but my SILVER GH rivet is not.

Did I get a bad batch... or are they just like that with the Silver GH rivet being C-curve?

T&D are known for excellent customer service and always resolving issues fairly in the end. Personally, I think resolving issues directly with the seller and leaving it off the board is the best way to go. Why bring drama here? It will leave you in good standing with the sellers to keep it off the board.

Thanks for your opinion. As I recall, several girls agreed on the colour issue, but that isn't the point. I was more upset with that fact that my BDR GSH First was in pieces when I received it (after waiting over a month and a half, may I add), the handle completely detached from the bag, with one piece of necessary hardware actually missing. As to their customer service: all I can say is that they never reimbursed me for getting the First fixed as they promised to numerous times. It's interesting to me that they suddenly stop all contact when I was the one to back down on the refund and just let it be in the interest of preserving a buyer-seller relationship.

If they want to throw away a customer who's both willing even now to keep buying and to introduce new customers to them, that's their prerogative, I suppose. Unfortunate. Imagine if bricks-and-mortar businesses dealt with unhappy customers this way.

Well I got my Azur Speedy 30 and Delightful "PM" from Fang today! For anyone who might be experiencing deja vu, the azur speedy i posted pics of was for a friend of mine. And I sold my Delightful PM from J a while back due to the lack of leather piping on the side. I just couldn't carry it knowing something that big was missing. Fang's Delightful has the leather piping, the straps are skinnier and the lettering is fatter unlike J's. Anyway, I am happy with Fang's quality. One bummer is that I ordered a Delightful PM from her but I def received a MM! For anyone whos interested can look a few posts back as to the size of the PM (both mod and it standing alone) I would say the MM is more like the Gucci horsebit hobo for size. I was def happier with the PM size for everyday.

As someone who's recently seen both J and Fang's Azur Speedy 30, I would say Fang's is more realistic only in that she uses lighter gold metal and the finite details like the crisp even heatstamp (i'm sure we've all seen some bags w/ the Louis Vuitton Made in ___ stamp was deeper than the otherside) and the leather tab attaching the handles on J's is too narrow at the top and curve out where as Fang's is one straight line.
Other than that, the quality of canvas and structure is about the same. So if you can handle/don't care about those details, then go with J. If those bother you then I would pay the $40 more for Fangs.

Hope this helps anyone pondering the diff b/w these 2 sellers!

That said, I asked her how much and she said $343...is that about how much you all have been paying? That hi for a rep, but I understand she's the best.

Waiting on my Seigle GRGH from T&D anyday now...bummed that the color is a bit off from the pics I've seen but hopefully its still gorg in person...will try to post pics when I have it.
