I want to get a reissue from Fang and have corresponded with her on ioffer, but can't believe the price of a leather reissue! INSANE!! Is there a HUGE price difference between leather lining and non leather lining chanel reissues?

I'll have to ask her about her site because she hasn't provided me with many pictures

I think I paid around $250 for my leather lined reissue from her. She has different grades of leather for the reissues. Mine was worth every penny!

Sahara Day GSH and a Black Envelope Clutch GSH

Just received these two today. The shipping took longer than usual, but it was worth the wait!

The Sahara Day GSH is a gorgeous neutral colour, and the leather is thick and smooth with a bit of shine. I find it quite similar to Olive, so I think the shine will tone down after a few uses....unfortunately this bag will be going to my Sister (although I may try and 'borrow' ahem it from her at some point )

The Black Envelope Clutch GSH is my first Black item from T&D and my first Envelope Clutch, and gosh it is soooo spacious! (I can fit my Kindle in there lol). The leather is the thickest which I have ever had from T&D, which I don't really mind, as I suppose it helps to keep the shape(?).....I have a feeling that this won't be my last clutch from them

Oh another thing, I went into Harvey Nichols recently and had a little wonder around the Balenciaga section, and the leather was very very dry on the current stock they had in (I know each season and each bag is different but these were just too dry in my opinion). I thought the quality of leather would have been a little more desirable due to the price line, but it really wasn't for me! I imagine anyone buying one from there. may need to moisturise it quite a bit to get them a little healthy . However on the other hand, sometimes our T&D's are a little more than healthy....guess it shows the variation you get in leather!

Yes, auth leather is horrible. Especially the specific leather i saw on sahara bag last year. It was like sooo dry and almost scale off...ewww... Beautiful bag and clutch

I emailed T&D about a Folk bag last week, and they said that they don't have the pattern and they don't have any plans to make it. They told me to tell the people on the forum that this was the case (which is weird because I, too, remember talk of it last summer).

They also said that they are possibly going to buy a Metro bag to make a pattern from, and to ask if anyone is interested in that shape.

Again, that seems strange, as the Metro doesn't seem like a very popular silhouette, judging from the lack of TPF pictures, anyway. But if you want a Metro, email them now!

I offered to send them my authentic folk bag last year which I did. They could not source the screw on the folk bag (which adjusts the strap). They then lostn their pattern maker. I am not sure that they have found a new pattern maker or have been able to source the screw. If they can find the screw and have a pattern maker I could send my bag to them. Why don't all of you write to them and find out if they have found e screw.

On another note I notice that Jackie has the black Edie auto back up on his sight after having been off his site for three weeks. Did someone buy it and return it because someone was wrong with it? I wonder.

Madonnacomplex, I bought a Bal city from Fang last year and it was about $300 for a black RGGH city. But that was from an old site so perhaps the price has changed?

The boys said that RGGH for the Siegle will be ready in about 6 weeks. I missed the Anthra Velo they had but I see someone selling one on i-off (seems a very blue/teal color). I really want the Velo style and can't decide which color. Saw the Ardoise velo in Neiman's, that was also very nice too and I guess the boys said that would be coming in a few weeks.

But Seigle with RGGGh? Gawsh i wish I could afford every style.

Here's the latest from T&D when I inquired about the fact that Coco109 is ready to send her bag:

Yes we have new pattern maker. He's excellent and his job I might add.
I think it was the buckle that could not be sourced.
How many girls are there that would be definitely buying one?
Let me know and if there is enough we may look at having the buckle manufactured ourselves rather than trying to find it.

My black city RH from the latest batch is slightly larger (wider mostly) than my sang city RH. I also owned a black city from a while back that was like this too. Are the black cities supposed to be bigger than colored ones? Or is my sang defective?

I was looking at Jacky half moon woc. Can anyone tell me how they compare to the auth? I want the black on but he's out of it and brown one and off white ones are nice but I'm not sure of the black lining. Isn't it supposed to be brown and beige respectively? Does anyone know?

minibabe - I have bought the caviar woc and I'll post the pics to see in the pics only thread. I never saw the lining of an auth, so I can't comment on that. But I did find it to be good quality - however I don't know if he uses real leather for his caviar - i have an auth chanel caviar wallet and it wasn't nearly as luxurious - but then again the wallet is a few yrs old so it had plenty of time to work in?? Hope this helps.

Has anyone ever bought a Speedy 30/35 White watercolore?
I see one on Fangs page, shes quoted me for both the 30 and 35 but not sure how the canvas should look. I know its supposed to be a blend of 17 colors but can someone see if this looks ok? And does anyone know if both sizes were "made in france" I know that the 30 was more hard to come by than the 35 was and not sure if any of them should say made in USA

Is that their sample Anthra RGGH? It looks quite bright in that picture but it's really hard to tell with RGGH. It looks darker and more 'antique' irl.
