The Isaac Mizrahi section at target.com has a review section for each item sold. Here's just a sample of good and not-so-good reviews from people who've actually bought this stuff. I can't stop reading them!

Terrible Product, Leaves fur on EVERYTHING! March 18, 2004

Reviewer: Velvet Howard from Richmond, VA

I bought the pink hoodie and was extremely disappointed in the poor quality. It was very scratchy, not soft at all. It left fur along the collar of my wool coat and it took forever to get it out. I even tried wearing a tank top underneath to reduce some of the itchy-scratchy feel of the sweater but it did not help. This is a complete waste of money any way you put it. The hot pink color may look cute but save your money. It is not worth it. I wish that I had read the reviews before I bought it.

loved then hated March 14, 2004

i was thrilled when i first bought my hoodie, in an amazing electric red. got lots of compliments. sad to say, the sweater not only shed and pilled like crazy, it also was a fuzz magnet and looked dirty from picking up fibers. because this item is a hand-washable, it is impossible to get it to look great again. after two careful washings, i threw it in the trash. sob.

fuzzy hair everywhere! January 26, 2004

Reviewer: A guest from San Antonio

I loved the pink sweater! It looked great with a white t-shirt and black pants. The only problem was the pink hair came off everywhere! My work chair was coated with it, my car seat was coated with it, I had to de-fuzz my black pants 3 times in one day. I hoped washing it would help, but it didn't. After doing some research on angora I found out that cheap angora sheds a lot. If you want to walk around with a lint brush, this is the sweater for you. Otherwise, spend a little more money for a higher quality angora sweater.

These are awesome! May 25, 2004

These pants fit like a dream! They make me look easily 5-10 pounds thinner! And they are incredibly comfortable. The only complaint I have is that they wrinkle kind of easily, but that might because of the type of material. Then again, if it was a different material, it might not fit as good. Argh! Such a catch-22. Anyway, I love these pants & I so wish they came in different colors.

Incredible bargain--thanks again, Isaac! May 23, 2004

Reviewer: Shaaron Dodd from St. Augustine, FL

I got this shirt to go with the Isaac Mizrahi Blue Canvas skirt, and it looks incredible! It's wonderful to wear with the skirt or with shorts or jeans. It is light and crisp, but not sheer, so it's comfortable and cool to wear in this heat. It will be one of my summer staples here in Florida. I feel like a model in this outfit...I will be going back to Target much more frequently to check out what is new from the Isaac Mizrahi collection!!!

perfect for spring March 15, 2004

Reviewer: A guest from Palo Alto, CA

This looks crisp and is perfect for sunny afternoons. Fabric is quite thin, so you will need to wear skin-colored underwear. Has bust darts. The stretch in the fabric lets you move your arms very freely -- you could play basketball comfortably in this! I usually wear a size 4 and the Small fits me best.

That pant and dress are probably not from target...
if you check style .com it lists which pieces are which...

these two items are credited with being from target...or i wouldn't have said they were... :flower:

those pants are ridiculous!!!... :yuk:

but the dress is actually ok... :innocent:

Oh yes I just checked style.com...but still I don't belive that the black dress is from target

i know...seems suspicious...i'd like to see it up close , in person...hmmm....

looks a little too good to be true...but he does have some decent pieces in the line for target...i saw the last two collections at the press events...i didn't go to this one, but i bet the dress will fall apart after wearing it once...

you're probably better off going to zara or club monaco for stylish stuff at reasonable prices...

and i still think gap does a great white shirt...even isaac admitted that that's what he wears...

no...i don't think the suits are target...

the first short denim trench...all the tank tops...most or all the shoes and bags...and the khakis and cardigans...

and don't forget that these were all altered and tailored for the show...they will not be as chic or as tailored in store... :innocent:
figures! :/

There was a huge turn out to that show! Good for him!

I like Target. They happen to have some nice stuff and I  ADORE  those outlandish pants. I love what he did.

Lookie. Selma Blair wore one of his dresses to the CFDAs.

seems like a good idea to me. after all, isn't style not how much you pay for things, but how you wear them?

I just saw 3/4 of the collection at Target.com and all I can say is ANNOYING.

The beginning started fairly. You can definetly see this-and last-year's hottest trend; ladylike. I also saw white blotted linings on the felt-looking coats, that generally, I liked.

The center was okay. I saw genuinely good low-end wear. The fact that it went with the high-end designs effortlessly proves my point. Though it remind me of Marc by Marc Jacobs. I also saw real Izaac touches like the cropped pea-coat the was fit to a T and the capri pants and the gold jacket over the palazzo pants.

Towards the end, Izaac's "vision" blurred into a frenzy of references. The sable and fur coats with tweed pencil skirts, PRADA; the ribbed fur sweaters, GUCCI; the cossack hats and full skirts, OSCAR DELA RENTA; the purple coat; pure CRISTOBAL Balenciaga; the huge-skirted ballgows, RALPH RUCCI; Ujjwala's body-hugging gown, ATELIER VERSACE. Alot also were references to Marc Jacobs and Michael Kors' last collection for Celine.

So overall a poorly designed comeback collection. He is hype after all.

I love the multi-coloured shimmery gown that's on Liya Kebede, and the black dress with the green sash. The black, lace-edged gown is simply to die for...I'm glad he's back. :)

If it's jersey, and if it's at Target, I'll buy it.

The palazzos -- naw, playa, I really don't see those being sold at Target although they are somewhat flattering for those of us with, err, hips. :innocent:
