Valentino Pre-Fall 2008

I really like this. It's about damn time Valentino went in a different direction. I for one was sick and tired of the exact same collection over and over again. I don't mean to offend any Valentino fans - the man knows how to dress a modern glamorous woman, it's just that it became so repetative. In my opinion anyway.

this is 110% not valentino, whatsoever. disgusting. someone needs to fire her.
and even if this wasnt valentino, this collection is going backwards in fashion, and is not fashion forward WHATSOEVER. yuck.

i am extremely happy for Valnetino taking risk and making some cleansing. all i can see for now is the new silhouette, the new volumes and proportions. and it's promising. aren't we all bored with the same sparkle-sexy-gimme-more-red-dresses concept of what is called Valentino? it's always interesting to see some freshness and pushing boundaries. do you miss Garavani so much? not me. sincerely.

excuse me, but valentino has an image to live up to, and so far, it looks like its going down the drain, because there are only a handful, if any, true valentino customers that would buy that.
