It is december now, new year approaching and all... Whenever i go out, i see people with a great taste and the coolest combinations in the streets, clubs etc... Cozy winter spirit merged with the new year excitement i guess, feeling the style and fun everywhere!
I really should take and post pictures..

I'm from istanbul too.Actually in some places people have really good styles in here. but these pictures are all from celeb magazine. So i guess this is sth. more different from street style

I'm from Istanbul as well (although I live in London now) and yeah, there are lots of v. stylish women! But there are also lots who are rather tacky and unelegant with fake blonde hair and fake tans, imo
I also quite like some of Eda Taspinar's outfits (I think there were a few pics posted of her in this thread). I heard she studied at St. Martins.

i was in turkiye for three months over the summer and in istanbul for two of those months. It is true that there are neighborhoods such as nisantas and taksim where there are some really stylish people, but there also alot of people that try to hard

Yes it is kinda true illherbyou, but i guess that is a common thing in a lot of metropolitans. People who hangs around Nisantasi, Taksim, Asmalımescit, Bebek, Ortakoy, Bagdat Caddesi, Galatasaray, Levent and plenty of other alternative, more civilized parts of Istanbul has a more deep, eclectic, trendy or hip sense of fashion. Of course, there are a lot of people who has unlimited money in their pockets but no idea about what to do with it or wear, lacking a background culture and sense so they come to try really hard and own a pseudo-style that seems "borrowed" or become fashion victims.

That's is how i see anyway..
