you are right. that's exactly how it goes. and we call those fake trendy people "truzzi".

Yeah! You're right! :D

[I'm from Italy, I'm sorry for my bad english]

The typical "truzzo" :

I don't like this style, in my opinion it's quite dull, but a lot of young people wear in this way.

I love this (except for the sunglasses):

the typical fighetto sports a mullet and wears low-rise jeans with the word RICH written in PINK on his ***. he also wears huge designer sunglasses and a dolce&gabana belt with the big logo on the buckle

I was in Milan a few weeks ago. As far as jeans, it was dominated by the over-ripped, over-distressed styles typical of Dolce&Gabbana. It was not a pretty sight...

typical 'well placed' Milanese lady, very easy and 'not trying hard'

young, typical and cute

credited as above

admiting that those Milano streetstyle pics are dangerously close to what one could see while walking in athens :ninja:

i should edit the very first picture posted at post one, it belongs to Berlin ..but i cant at the moment so just dont count it as Milano, its Berlin..

^ yes, its so fresh and 'non-trying' glad you like the style mass

This is not really streetstyle, but I don't where else to post it:D
Article about Italians and their mobile phones..
Scanned by me from Dutch ELLE july06

The small interviews are all about who they're calling, about what, how many times a day and if their telephonebill is high ;) If someone wants a better translation, just ask, I'll translate it for you...

:flower:

Are all footballers truzzi or fighetti? Because I would call that style Beckham-like.

^
yep they are. but beckham copies italian style (esp the long hair with hairband) ;)

I'm going to Rome in a few weeks time, and then to somewhere called San Gimignano (in Tuscany I think). I just wondered what sort of weather there's likely to be?

And also how to dress for the evening. I've been to quite a lot of the Mediterranean and found that in the evening people tend not to dress up very much for restaurants, and wondered if this was the case in the evening?

And what footwear would you recommend for a lot of walking around Rome, that's comfortable but still stylish?
Thanks
