I got to give him flowers when things are going the right way.
I have to say that I have been quite impressed by the huge upgrade in quality at Jacquemus from what I have seen in his Montaigne store.

Obviously, there’s still a lot of work to do but there’s a huge improvement in terms of fabrics, cut or even perceived quality.
Currently there’s a bit of his FW2025 and this collection in stores and really concentrating in cotton was a clever idea.

Even the volumes are more achieved now.

He really has stepped up his game.
It’s really now I think a contemporary brand that could be worth it.

I hope though that he will continue to maintain the contemporary positioning because as his fashion seems to get more mature, the prices are increasing and it’s a bit all over the place.

I saw some beautiful coat in wool at fairly decent prices below 1800€. But I saw a lot of leather and shearling pieces above 2K.
Maybe it’s for the international clientele but even if I liked the shearling pieces, I’m not spending +2K at Jacquemus and a lot of people that I saw in stores were either looking for separates and accessories and were also cautious of prices. The women who were looking for a NYE dress were looking at sexy polyester dresses that were below 600€.

I would support a young designer at anytime but in reality, I felt like for a lot of more expensive pieces, I would rather buy them on sales.

i think this is the best way to approach jacquemus rtw. for that price ull get something decent and "trendy" from jacquemus. anything above thousands, maybe not that much worth it
