Jason Wu F/W 10.11 New York

This is so pretty and feminine. I´m happy to see no black here. Very soft and pretty collection. The dresses are my fave, especially with the feathers.

most of the pieces seen so far a show stoppers in their own right. Although there are a few very bad looks:ninja:

oooh, i love this. the "dirty" looking skirt suit, the day wear is all lovely. i like a lot of the evening looks too, but they seem ill-fitted. Especially the one on abbey lee, it looks like its pulling her down. i don't know if it is intentional or just poor tailoring. either way, i am sure they will look fine once they are produced.

i've never found the appeal on jason wu. never understood where he stands exactly. who does he target.
to me it all looks very mobama (unfortunately not in a good way. of all the first ladies' choices, he is my least favorite)

nothing really new, but i think that it was cute. maybe "cute" in fashion is not that positive.

i'm not a fan... very marni+giambattista valli.

Not all the looks are a hit, but as a whole a marvellous collection, day and evening wise. Elegant and feminine, with a flair of originality and edge. And I love the volume! I also find refreshing the absense (at last!) of super mini dresses.

I can't tell if some of the looks aren't fitted correctly or if that's their intended shape.
Also a lot of this just seems so cliche.

Horrible use of volume, terrible colour palette, and just um yeah....this collection is a total failure in my eyes.

while i love this, it's a bit disjointed and a mishmash of my favorites from other houses. from the transparent polka dots from pilati's debut ysl collection to those fall-off-the-shoulder dresses that remind me of greatest hits from john galliano and marc jacobs. unfortunately, so little of this feels like wu.

The short dresses are tdf. The coats are also something I really like too.
