Nothing over the top , and some REALLY clever touches .

Thanks for the pics nqth :flower:

one of the few real designers left. a trenchcoat shirt is genius.

thx for the topic and the pics ngth...

i really wasn't expecting much...but WOW>>>!!!
i am so surprised at how much i love some of these looks...

and of course i am a sucker for the skirt...i still think he does it better than anyone...
i love the swtr vest...that is just how my ex would dress...

though i don't really like any of the khaki-ness... :ninja:

I'm missing JPG's genderbending antics, but who cares. The clothes look splendid.

A great collection from him, this is suprising.
It seems more down-to-earth and wearable.

A toned down collection from JPG...was definitely not expecting that. It's nice.

I auctully really like it! Nice tailoring, cool ideas.I especially like the first.

OMG, who's carrying this in NYC this year?? I LOVE them!:woot:

Man, there goes my budget...

If anyone has addition pictures, kindly post them. Thank you.

There are only 15 looks total. I heard he laid off 150 workers to stay in the black, hence the smaller (more commercial) collection. Here are the rest of the images, courtesy of British GQ's site:

The tucked-in suit jacket idea is cute, except that OWN did that last spring already...Ateleier only bought the pants though...!

On second look, there are definitely some pieces I want, but it's just a very wearable collection, nothing over the top. I suppose this reflects his need for commercial success? GQ noted that there isn't a striped shirt in site! ;)

You are welcome, Kit, Softgrey:-)

The tucked-in suit jacket is very Comme 80s Baklanyc, I think Prada did it some years ago, too.

I like this collection, fresh and sharp tailoring. Big surprise from JPG indeed. I like the coat with "flare" bottom. It looks like you wear a office-skirt:-P The first look is so cute:-)

thanks for the rest of the pics bakla...:flower:

whoever that brunette model is...he really can sell those clothes boy!!....
that blonde kid's another story...OY!!...:ermm:

the first pic bakla posted is great...look at the waistband of those pants...very cool...and a great little jkt...

but i still see a striped shirt bakla...LOL...those gq guys need glasses...
maybe jpg got his sailor fetish satisfied with his collection for la redoute...for anyone who hasn't seen it...it's straight out of an old mgm musical...sailor hat and all... ....anchors away.... :innocent:

of course jpg needs to focus on selling clothes...sad that he had to cut back so much...i am sure that was very tough...

but the clothes are very strong which proves that he can do this...i honestly hope this carries over to the womenswear...because as much as i respect his work...i've never really been able to wear his stuff...maybe being at hermes has helped him to focus more on business...we all need to do this now...

it's all i've been doing for a month now...

brian--I love that look as well...of course I do, he's wearing a VEST!!!

I am really digging a lot of these pieces. I had to take a second look at a lot of the pieces because that model (dark hair) was too distracting:blush:
